Formed from the unlikely alliance of Cygnus Knights and Explorers, on March 9, 2011 the Ultimate Explorers became the latest class to join the resistance to defend Maple World against the Black Mage!

Becoming an Ultimate Explorer is not an easy task. You must have a max level Cygnus Knight, finish the final job advancement, and finally complete the quest Empress Grace. The quest is difficult and demanding, and we want to reward those who were up to the challenge! From all the Ultimate Explorers created between March 9 and April 4, 2011, we will randomly select twenty to receive a MaplyStory T-shirt!

Wow Nexon, did you notice that not very many people made one and it's not making you enough revenue?

Pfft. Even if I got my Cygnus Knight to level 120, I wouldn't have enough character slots to make an Ultimate Explorer in the first place.

In case Nexon America wonders why there are so little Ultimate Adventurers:
1. Give me a frickin free character slot maybe, I don't feel like deleting any of my chars, mkay?
2. Increase the frickin droprate of the frickin peridons (or w/e they're called) - Like 1 in 10 droprate, so I can start my UA in like 15mins, instead of 20 hours of useless grinding at crappy monsters?
3. Balance the UA skills so that they're useful for all classes, instead of only super overpowering warriors?

If not: UA's are FAIL

Not everyone wants to pay 8 bucks for an extra char slot...
Not everyone wants to pay to "only" hunt 10 hours instead of 20 hours for peridons to drop with 2x drop card...
Not everyone wants to pay + do boring things to start a new non-warrior character with 1 crappy extra skill...

Did Nexon even check the quest themselves on 1x droprate?

Probably, and I have to ask (out of laziness) this quest is at level 120 were you will not gain anything except drops from grinding for countless hours, right?

Yeah, no exp needed anymore at your lvl 120 cygnus, but gains... unless you're in a family yourself so you can gain rep for yourself with grinding on your Cygnus...

But you do it all for completing the quest and being -allowed- to make a Ulimate Adventurer to start at lvl 50, with a (future) 2 watt medal + cygnus clothes + extra cygnus attack skill + ability to weak equips 10 lvls higher then your current lvl + less HP then usual.

This is very demotivational.

Why make a UA when I already have SD on my main character!? He's a UA in his own league!

Only when you provide the free character slot, or at least a sale on character slots. $7 for another mule isn't worth it, and I'm already going to need 3 more slots for the Chaos items for leveling up 40 levels.

I saw this and panicked, thinking there would be rewards for making a UA, and i'm not level 120 yet.

Then i saw it was a T-Shirt. No thanks.

Like 5k maple points to all UA created during that time would be too much reward.
