Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

So um, for those that have played or are playing Karthus, how do you guys play him? I do know from firsthand experience that he's a very good annoying mothaf'ucka sonofabiotch carry.

What items and rune builds do you guys use?

Soraka continues to be OP*. Nocturne ulting? I'll just press R in a few seconds...

"What!? How are you unstoppable!?"

"Because I'm just that awesome! Okay, actually I just don't die."

Also, while I don't recommend Shurelya's Reverie for most champions, I'm just falling in love with it! Faster Ghost with (usually) the required duration needed, and it comes every minute. Good for myself, and for my teammates. Combine this with Flash and Cleanse and good positioning, I'm virtually ungankable and unkillable. (except the two you-know-whos)

Probably Renekton and Xin Zhao. Xin Zhao's passive makes him unharassable in the laning phase. Renekton is just =|

Renekton understandable but Xin was already nerfed before and isn't that popular anymore.. I doubt Xin will see a nerf again.

Buying nocturne today, can't wait to have my trollface on as I render just about every support char next to useless.

These past couple of days ive been getting horrible fps in game.

The only way i can salvage a stable fps that doesnt make my movement look stuttery is to run game booster. Dont really know whats suddenly taking up all my ram these past few days..

I already have all the graphics on really low cos im playing on a laptop lol.

I'm mad. I just brought Cho'Gath a week ago so my team wouldn't keep on losing all the time due to no tanks. Now I can't play him full tank anymore.

After a string of losses, i finally get a win
I was basically shielding and lasering like a mad man. In team fights, only the akali wanted to focus me, everyone else focused our tank mord lol..

I thought Kat's new skin art looked great, but damn. Those really blow everything we have out of the water.

It mostly functions as one of these:
--Jungler item
--Permanently ward a spot during laning
--Baron/dragon killer (see Jungler item)
--AD vs. AD

Its good early game and mid game. But i usually sell it Late game when i have the other 5 slots full and want more firepower.

Guh. A bad night for LoL. Tried out Jarvan once. It did not go very well. How the hell do melee characters get any farming done in the face of a ranged opponent?

Depends on who im fighting with and my champion of choice XD. Jarvan is easy, just throw the flag a little behind the ranged if you can and then dragon strike it, then try and go for the kill because othewise you would get killed XD. Its a do or die situation in most cases.

If worse comes to worse, the only thing you can do is get exp =/ Most melee champions have a self-heal of some sort, and a few of them require you to get dirty in order to benefit from it. Ideally, your lane comp would either have a ranged champion or someone that can clear minions fairly well.

Mid to late game, when you have your skills and stuff, most melee champs can kill their ranged counterparts. Casters are tricky though, and are situational. Never 1v1 Fiddlesticks unless you can counter his Fear and interrupt his drain or ult channel.

Have you tried 3rd party websites such as mobafire, leaguecraft, clgaming, and solomid? Or perhaps you could try stalking looking at the post-game stats of known Karthus players such as ScarletDoom.

Just looked him up; looks like he hasn't been spamming Karthus in ranked or normal lately. :\
