What's your ideal hairstyle?
#1
I was wondering what kind of hairstyles most people are into these days. Also, does anybody here do their own hair-styling or haircuts? I have a ton of friends that does, and I might get into the habit of doing that as well with specialized scissors made for cutting hair.

Also, this isn't the Funhouse, so watch your comments, bros.

I've only known two hairstyles in my entire life: the typical Asian male style and no style at all. I don't want to look too formal and brushed up, but neither do I want to appear sloppy and lazy, so I combine the two: Instead of brushing my hair with a comb, I do it with my fingers. They look neat enough without giving off an uppity feeling.

Cut real short because I prefer not to look like a woman.

Haha. The only two things that came to mind was a buzzcut and just spiky hair (hairgel / hairspray), since that's what a lot of Asian males are doing. I have noticed that more people are using Gatsby for styling hair nowadays though, Gatsby is pretty decent.

Ew. Maybe I should've said fobby instead of Asian, but I don't really get slang terminologies. It's just split into 2 halves, 7-3, I think.

Oh, that. Yeah, that's really common. More-so in our native country. :v

I've been cutting my on hair for ~4 years. I used to do it in a side swept longer bang style while still looking neat and well groomed sort of your basic fringe. Example: [Image: burberry_mens_hair.jpg]

But sans the greasy look iduced by pomade and worn a bit more side-swept normally. Sometimes i would do a few different things for my own entertainment such as have a sort of stubby rattail that i would sort of stand up with hair wax to espress mah counter culture. And i just thought it was hilarious. Every time a girl would be like uhmmm... do you know you have a rattail? i'd just genuinely act like i did not know about or want it. Despite it usually bein styled, they believed it.

After some circumstances in my life change i started going with the standard fade. meaning buzzed to be different lengths typically getting longer as it approaches the middle and top of my head. I think i have a picture in the picture thread with a somewhat grown out fade but you can't see it well.

ITT: SouthPerry has tastes.

I am impressed.

I want the vocalist's (Mao) hair from this video too, man.. Most of this is pretty do-able, since my hair is slowly getting to that length, but I don't want to dye my hair, that's the only difference. I prefer to keep my hair near dark-brown or black.

It's cheap and easy. I have to keep it tighter though cause my hair's shorter.

I'm pretty sure she's a girl. Not 100%, but still....

My haircut is the same as ~1-2 years when I took this picture. Typical Asian ftw.
