Which generation are you?

There are 10 Generations of Mapler and they state as follow.

Gen 1: The Betas/Old papayagots (Year 1) (If you apply from before: 11 May 05)
Gen 2: The Panlid Gang (Post Beta ~ 20 Dec 05)
Gen 3: 3rd Job Seekrs (And Tiger-fad) (21 Dec 05 ~ 2 May 06
Gen 4: Zakuuuuum! ( 3 May 06 ~ 1/22/2008)
Gen 5: 4th Job Guardians (23 Jan 08~11 Nov 08)

Your dates on the first 3 gens are really confused I played in Beta though.

3rd job came out in December 2005 iirc. Zakum not for a while after that... The earliest I can confirm legit kills is September 2006. And I think Zakum itself wasn't available til April 2006 (not certain on this though - this is the earliest I completed the zak quests, and I was in the Altar on May 15 2006)

Um... By what do you base this on? I mean... I could come up with more generations based on nothing really. A lot of those feel like very limited time frames.


By your list, I'm generation 3 -- I started in September, 2005.

I have no idea what you based it on either, but 3 and 4 seemed accurate for me. When I used to play, Tiger was the sh`it. Drama all over Scania, but that made it fun to play, imo.

I believe I played beta, but I'm not so sure. I didn't play that much and soon migrated to RO. But I do remember wanting a Panlid though. lol

I remember my first panlid. I was at HHG and it dropped and the guy didn't notice it. 10-15 seconds of FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG that felt like years waiting so i could pick it up. Eventually got it and did a little dance.

Panlids back then was like the shit of all shits back then. I got my first panlid and when I wore it everyone started to ask me for it.

nou it didn't o_o i got that patch date by the Maplestory website. Unless you care to elaborate and give me an exact date.
