Is anyone else having a hard time with the dews on regular Adventurers?

not sure, really doubt it has something to do, but who knows, this guy on basil said it took him 40 hours~ to get all 20 so... *shrugs*

I've gotten 3 on 1.2x drop so far, 2 on 1x drop.

Update: 3 hours and 8 dews, used both 1.2x drop buffs and one lucky winter.

In 1 hour of hunting I got 5 dews total. I'm on 1x drop by the way.

Lunar Dews took around 3 hours for me on 2x drop card & Lucky Winter.

The next quest for Soul Driver is far far worse like some people have stated.
Spent 3 hours at Ultra Grey on 4x drop so far, only found 1 Soul Light.

yup, just found out on my own, and apparently, the rate seems to be even worse, so much fun~

The way I see it is if it's only 10 items for the next quest even if it's a lower drop rate it should balance out. I'll find out soon enough I guess, 19/20 dews.

Doesn't balance out, I found around 6 Dews on 4x in one hour.
I only found 1 Soul Light in 4 hours on 4x.

I don't see myself getting Soul Driver anytime soon at this rate.

Well, i'm trying Poison Poopas right now to see how well it goes. Decent spawn so i'm hoping this gets the drop quickly.

I would probably say these are much like the old Notebook pages at Neo City. Where you should cc after a certain period of time of not getting one. Not sure if this would work, though seeing as I always seem to get good drop rates on items like this on ch 7, and that I haven't done Dews yet. Having more fun at LHC and working on my UA.

Well... I've been killing the female Desert Rabbits (the white ones) since I have nothing else to do and I've been here for quite a few hours and still no dews have dropped for me.


Am I doing something wrong here...?

EDIT [10:28pm PST]: Confirming the 2nd set of orbs drop from Cube Slimes, if people were gonna start having doubts for whatever reason.

So I found out why I went 1.5 hours on 4x drop without finding a single Dew and why everyone else was finding up to 10 in a matter of hours, some getting all 20 within the same time frame. The quest for Thieves is glitched, here is a SS of my friends quest window for the quest and mine for the same thing:



And if this isn't enough proof that it's glitched for Thieves, my friend, who is a Shad has the same issue with her quest window and when she was with my friend and one dropped he told her to take it but she couldn't see it. So yeah, the Empress quest for Thieves is glitched.

It's kind of a repeat. Each stage still has you get 10 orbs again, but they require you killing one of two OTHER monsters that drop said items. Stage two requires you to kill either Blue Flower Serpents or Cube Slimes for the orbs. I'm willing to bet stages 3/4/5 all require different monsters as well. Plus I noticed each stage has you kill higher level monsters. Ultra Grays are level 70, while Cube Slimes are level 78.

Also I'm more than willing to say that even a level 200 can get the CK skill maxed out at level 5. So far the quests require you to be Level X+, in this case 70+/80+ for the time being since I'm at stage 2, to be able to start the quest and hunt the soul orbs.

I logged a ticket about the thief (and possibly archer) problem. Annoying for us questhoes.

No. For example, if you have trouble finding or killing Pianus for Carta's quest, you can just wait outside when some randoms kill it. They will not see the Pianus Scream unless they are also doing the quest, and when they have looted all drops you will be able to snatch the item.
