As far as I can tell (granted I only have 46% stance, so 10 KBs in a row isn't impossible) Stance doesn't work on magic attacks including super KB.

Super KB can be stopped with stance. All my party members have had at least 1 warrior and they don't get KB'd as frequently as me.

To add something to this discussion, mechs can't get super KB'ed. Yeah, I know it sucks for other jobs...
Also, blood reindeers were faster for us than bearwolves. Our party consisted of 2 level 15x, 2 level 16x, a level 13x(me f3), and a hs mule. Blood reindeers also have a better hp:exp ratio, and do little to no damage with their magoc attack. So, yeah.. Best map IMO.

QSCX Wrote:What do you mean by saying HS doesn't affect party bonus? It affects all exp gained, including that from the party bonus.
Yeah, sorry about that. I got confused by the party bonus. I had thought it was simply 10x normal party bonus: normal bonus is 5% per member (including yourself), and LHC said 50% per member. So for a full party, the party bonus should be 300%. I was getting less than that, so without doing any calculations I just assumed HS wasn't being figured in.
However, it seems LHC bonus is 50% per member besides yourself, and is added on top of normal party bonus. So if you have a party of 6, the total party bonus is 30% (normal 5% per member) + 250% (LHC 50% per extra member).
Anyway, bottom line: for 50k kill exp, in full party, I got 140k party exp. That's 280%.

From what I've tried out, it seems that Bearwolves have the upper hand.
Last night I did an hour with my guildmates (14x Shad, 18x BM, 18x NL, 16x Bishop for HS mule, & 11x afk mule for bonus exp, plus myself [195 BM])
The result: 8.5% in an hour with a 1.5x exp card (didn't use my 1.2x buff b/c I had used it earlier that day).
I am almost positive I was getting about 7-7.5%/hr at castle golems with the same party.
The castle golem map is still really good because, as stated previously, it's a tighter map so you don't have to move around as much to attack, however, I did not find much trouble moving around the Bearwolf map we were on since I had haste (I think it was Under the Castle Walls 5? not entirely sure though...it had 3 raised platforms and the bottom platform).

Very Tall Castle Walls seems to be the best map for Golems.
For me personally, castle golems are major annoyance, because my Freeze stand isn't high lvl enough to avoid super kb effectively.
EDIT:
Would crocs be better than Bearwolf and Castle Golem for me? It seems the kMS English community training there at 12X-14X. Is it just that kMS has golem/bearwolf maps full?
I lose most of the exp to the higher levels when I'm at bearwolf/golem.

It all depends on party set up. I roughly get 80m~/hr on x1 with our party set up at castle golems, minimum 70mil I think. I don't think we'll do too well at bearwolf just because their more spread out.

Have to agree with this. Castle Golems are definitely the best for Mechanics, though. While in tank mode they can't get super KB'd.

My % per hour goes down a lot doing Bearwolves instead of Castle Golems.

I much prefer Grey Vultures then Bearwolves...and I tried the wolf bears out. I was racking up more % at Vultures, even with their iFrames which isn't that much of a problem I find:o
Plus the maps smaller and easier to mob. If bear wolfs are as good as I hear, I'll try em again. I'll compare percentage gain in both

I suppose it varies a lot depending on the party.
In my usual training party at Bearwolves, there are two 18x+ Paladins taking the platforms, HSer hanging from a rope and rest of the party at the bottom. The bottom party is usually my dual blader, an aran and then someone else. DBs do really well at the bottom platform with super fast rushing from side to side.
Haven't really tried Reindeers or Castle golems though, but I know I don't like the Super KB from the latter ones.

Every 2nd blast misses and they do 2x as much damage to me as Bearwolves (2200 instead of 900 or so magic)... so not my choice for Paladin training.
At least they're fire-weak though.

The Vulture's hit box disappears completely when they are KB'd, major pain in the ass to kill there. I have no idea how anyone could even think of training there :|

Vultures are the worst monsters to f`ucking exist in LHC. No doubt about it.

I was surprised when I heard Vultures were popular, but they're supposed to be pretty good with Evans, MMs, and paladins. I still don't know how with that hit box. I'll have to ask around.
Which bearwolf map is better?

Evan's slow casting speed makes them close to never hitting their iFrames ever least when I'm there. Mind you I'm doing like 500k in one 'slower' hit, but I can see how if your class relies on constant numbers above a monsters head you won't do well there D:.

They didn't forget. This was clearly intended, just like bigfoot.

Yeah, just like Bodyguard B's missing hitboxes pre BB ./sarcasm
Either way, I find Bearwolves to be the best. Power knockback from Castle Golems isn't fun.
