Coffee

Never had coffee before. Coke, Pepsi, Vitamin water, deerpark and any type of gatoraide. That's my liquids.

Caffeine makes me sleepy, so i don't drink coffee for the reason every other person on the planet drinks coffee. If i need to stay awake, then i use will power and lots of food.

I don't like the taste anyway. too bitter for me.

Mainly drink it at night because it's comforting in an odd way. Only drink it in the morning if I know it's going to be one of those days. I prefer a splash of milk and nothing else in a light or mild brew.

I avoid coffee. I sometimes drink tea, but maybe two or three times a week at most.

The only coffee I ever drink is coffee from places like Starbucks. Loaded with sweetness and sugar and cream to the point where it may not even contain much coffee in itself. Even at that, I drink starbucks once in a blue moon. If I happen to be near one with cash and an inkling for coffee, then I'll get something.

I prefer Bubble Tea over Coffee anyway.

and to add on, i dont drink coffee that i made/or served at someones house. coffee that i usually take are tinned or bottled ones from 7-11. although i try to avoid coffee unless i really need that boost.

I drink it on a daily basis, if possible. Other times, it maybe be 4-5 times a week. There are days in which I'll drink up to 3-4 lattes. Of course, I stay away from Starbucks nowadays because their stuff isn't strong, and they don't taste that great to me. Most of the lattes I pay for are around 4-5 bucks per latte. I have money to blow though, I suppose. I actually like stuff that's Almond, Hazelnut, or Mint flavored.

But if we're talking about strong coffee, then I drink Kopi Luwak:

It's a place up in Pittsburgh that sells high quality coffee and tea. I refuse to drink tea from retail stores, because they all taste terrible. I'm going to have to say that I'm a huge fan of Oolong, and Black Tea. I do drink Rooibos from time to time though (but I guess that's not technically a real tea..). Teas are extremely easy to get along with too, since there's so many varieties. You can also mix and match a bit if you know what you're doing, like mixing different types of Black Teas with each other. What I hate doing wrong is having the temperature for the water too high, especially for teas like Oolong. Because if it's at an incorrect temperature, either the leaves gets burned, which then leaves an extremely bitter taste.. or it just seems like the leaves didn't soak in there long enough.

Also, would you know what this is?

A friend let me tried it once, and it's aged tea that's pressed down into a coin or cake form. It's not bad at all, he had to chip away at the cake so that the tea leaves would come off. It was . . . interesting. Tastes wonderful though, not sure what the Chinese name for this would be called. I think he said that this originated over in China.

I've personally never tried mint, but almond and hazelnut flavor coffee are ftw. <3 It's not my thing to be drinking coffee so often though. Maybe once a day or less. Teas are ftw too. But I can't believe Jasmine tea didn't make it to your list! =\ Tell me you forgot to add it! D:

When I drink bubble tea, it either is original, black tea, jasmine or honey green. My biggest beef though, is that typical bubbletea joints tend to use carnation milk powder. I prefer real milk. Tastes more real. ._.

I'm not sure if there's an actual English name for it.

Those are Cantonese pronunciations of the tea (ju pu being Mandarin). Oh well, I doubt there are many non-Asians that drink this stuff anyway.

I tried the Starbucks Tribute Blend yesterday, black. I can never taste the "undertones" in Starbucks' coffee such as the Tribute Blend's cherry undertone or Pike Place Roast's cocoa and nut undertone. I find black coffee best for the middle of the day when I can barely keep my eyes open.

I don't think it's nasty. In fact, it all depends on the quality of the one that you drank. Either the person steeped the leaves too long, or it was the incorrect temperature if you thought it must have tasted that terrible. `-`;

I actually don't drink Jasmine tea all that often, but I do enjoy it. My tastes in tea's pretty broad, because I drink it pretty weekly. I used to drink it a lot more often back then, but now I don't have a large supply of tea in my room (lol). I actually drink Bubble Tea too, Honeydew is my favorite, and Mango's 2nd favorite. Oh, and thanks for the complement!

There's one tea that I do want to try soon, and it's called "Gunpowder Tea". I still have a tin of "Wild Monkey Marsala" left, and it's a Loose Leaf tea.

Description on tin:

I can't live without my coffee. I pretty much drink it morning, noon and night. With the crazy hours I work, it helps get me through the day. I'm a crab apple without it.

The only flaw Coffee has is it's addiction.. that's all really..

Too much caffeine is bad for you as well, but that's also in soda and other stuffs.
