Black and White recent happenings thread!
I fight all trainers too, but I'm not that high leveled. lols
Also, I keep changing around my team, so right now I'm training an axew, and my new fire/bug pokemon (lols forgot the name)
EDIT: I just read that there are no stat reducing berries in this game. So my starters and in game pokemon are useless now for competitive purposes.
And that Fire/bug pokemon I hatched had a modest nature too... I guess breeding it won't be THAT hard anyway...

I haven't found any that I really like yet. Makes me sad.

Oh my god, I really wish the music that plays in the champs room plays other places. Went back there to psyche myself up for dennis #2.

Almost ready to raise a new team, just missing my beloved Porygon. not sure how re-battling trainers will work though, since the Vs. Seeker isn't around this time. Do we just walk back up to trainers, to battle, or what?

I think I missed something here. Who's Dennis?

So how do we get the stat reducing berries? Just trade over a poke with a berry attached?

You wait till Global link gets set up. Can't grow berries without it.

Stat reducing berries haven't been released legally yet, even in Japan. You can still get your Pokemon to lv100 before then though, as now you can change EVs at level 100 if the Pokemon doesn't already have full EVs.

EDIT: Also, anyone here have Power Items? I've asked on three other forums already but nobody has replied. I can offer White exclusives, Tepig, and almost all breedable gen 1-4 Pokemon.

Can't you get the power items from the battle subway?

Also, I have 7 badges now and I'm heading to Draginspiral tower.

My team:
Emboar lvl 46
Simisage lvl 47
Escadrill lvl 46
Basculin lvl 12(cut/surf/waterfall mule)
Scraggy lvl 19(strength mule)
Pidove lvl 12(fly mule)

It's fun beating the game with only 3 pogeymans.

This.

Yes, but they're 16 BP each, and the Battle Subway is actually hard to win sometimes without all my old items.

Same thing goes for other stuff like Focus Sash/Life Orb I need, but they're like..48 BP or something

Well, it's true that it needs a decent amount of BPs. What I do when I don't have Power items is: If I'm going to get same EVs on different pokemon, I just give them an Exp. Share(you get 2 easily) and EV train multiple Pokemon at same time. Takes longer than Power items, but a good alternative.

Well the thing is, I also need them for breeding to pass IVs. I'm anxious to start building some new competitive pokes but I need the power items first and I don't have the time, patience, nor attention span to do the subway right now.

Just finished the fourth gym. I had to use a mixture of Blitzle, Herdier, Archen and Dewott (I <3 Razor Shell) on the two Emolgas and then Sandile dispatched the Zebstrika easily. Those Emolgas were annoying little buggers.

Current team:
Dewott - level 26
Herdier - level 26
Sandile - level 27
Blitzle - level 25
Pansear - level 26
Archen - level 26

I'm so digging Archen right now, even though all it knows is Pluck and Ancient Power (and Agility and Quick Guard...bleh).

Are there more than two of the Exp. Share?

Volt Switch wasn't THAT big of a deal to me. I had more of an issue with not having anything effective against them. And if we were at a stand-still, they'd just double team til no tomorrow.

Holy pomegranate, postgame is hard.

The only thing I have left is my tranquiil, but I did catch a level 59 pupitar.
