I'm more aggravated about how the new quest UI's "Tip" gets overlapped by the quest progress bar. Just unprofessional and ugly looking.

No, they took the NPC out in an update to Tespia before it hit live.

That update was JMS copypasta. Same update changed the showa mobs and stuff.

I honestly don't beleive they had a clue till people reported/brought it to their attention. Much like e-staves.
