Disregard.

Nice double post, Cliff. Anyway, here's to hoping that the Evolving Rings stack. That would be pretty epic.

The ferrets. They made a mess. :/

I doubt they'll stack since Nexon can block all the item IDs. On the bright side, I might be able to Zak now.

Hah, no kidding. For Zak, I hope so too because I always randomly d/c on the bodies. >_>

bast963 Wrote:That sounds good enough to me. I was only bashing the new mobs because they're all pineappleing ice resist! I can't even go there until Chaos patch! At least I/Ls have CL to hit the mobs with, which they were going to do anyway.
But Arans? We have to turn off Snow Charge and lose the x1.35 boost on all skills, thus making us weaker than the other warriors (and a lot of other classes for that matter) on top of Smart Knockback not even working.

Party an I/L! Or ask one to ID mule for you. However, on a more serious note if you were considering this, an I/L's ID only has the one-step weaker ice effect for the level 1 five seconds so it would be unlikely for her to constantly spam ID for you.

Is there anyone proof these rings do or do not stack?

Just the fact that they are basicaly the same ring, that evolution rings without Watk/Matk doesnt stack and that Resistance,Explorer,Aran Ring also don't stack.

Definitive proof? No there isn't any of that yet.

If they do stack... I'll attempt to acquire 4 +17 rings.

They're all "One-of-a-kind" so they don't stack with themselves, and unless Nexon's stupid (which can't be ruled out) they will not stack with each other, either, since the previous ones didn't.

I think punch is asking if they would stack with the original rings and not on themselfs

Last time, only the 1st rings could stack with any other ones (tradeable or not). So we should know in a couple days, when people get Evolving Ring II to a high enough level.

While typing this talking about stacking evo rings I realized, Nexon could have changed the ring name and stuff so people with untradeable lv16 rings cant make them lv 17 on day one.

im pretty sure they said that in one of the announcements. I hope evo 1 will stack with evo 2, but i'd say its unlikely.

-Hime-'s self-deprecating emoticons notwithstanding, I think Nexon should make it clear whether the new rings can be worn with the old. If they can't, either the event description and/or Gaga's text should something to the tune of "be aware that you will not be able to wear one of these rings with one from the previous event", same way it was for Explorer and Resistance rings when they came out. If it doesn't, and they don't stack, there will be much rage in the community.

As for what I think:
On one hand, new ring item IDs suggest that they should be wearable with the previous ones ("stack"). Otherwise, why not just reactivate the old event with new dates? It was a lot of work to create a whole new set of rings, and make sure none of them can be worn with any of the previous set, and change Gaga's scripts to deal with them.

On the other hand, Lilin's/Explorer/Resistance rings suggest that Nexon doesn't like similar rings stacking, even with new names. The new rings are a second chance for those who missed the previous event, not a way for people to get more and more stats.

Personally, while I'd like them to stack (both because I want another 5 att, and because I have a few rings from the previous event that I haven't sold yet), I really can't be bothered to do the event on many chars again. Especially with multi-log gone. Just going to do it on those chars that log in every day anyway. If they do stack, I'll have enough for my important chars. If they don't, I'll have a few more extras to sell.

Weren't there a few last minute skill adjustments that hit PC side somewhere in between all of this content? I remember Hero's Brave Slash went up by like 10% or something. I know our patch is a combination of several KMS patches, but did we somehow miss the last few skill tweaks?

There were never any skill changes until Chaos.

That however is Nexon Korea and Nexon Global following Koreas lead. If we go off of past rings Nexon Global has made (Miwok, VIP) then it is likely they will stack.

This I find this extra hit really odd. Is this yet another unintended Nexon goof up?
