What are your thoughts on coffee?
And you've probably heard that coffee stunts your growth, but that is a rumor that started a long time ago because at that time, people replaced their daily servings of Milk with Coffee, thus not growing as much as they would by drinking milk
Basically.. coffee.
Good? Bad?
Do you drink it?
Why?
Does it help?
Etc.. all about coffee lmao
Go.

I used to drink coffee after dinner, but I got tired of it. I haven't had a cup of coffee in months. At Dunkin', I prefer vanilla chai or white hot chocolate.

Mainly drink it at night because it's comforting in an odd way. Only drink it in the morning if I know it's going to be one of those days. I prefer a splash of milk and nothing else in a light or mild brew.

I drink it on a daily basis, if possible. Other times, it maybe be 4-5 times a week. There are days in which I'll drink up to 3-4 lattes. Of course, I stay away from Starbucks nowadays because their stuff isn't strong, and they don't taste that great to me. Most of the lattes I pay for are around 4-5 bucks per latte. I have money to blow though, I suppose. I actually like stuff that's Almond, Hazelnut, or Mint flavored.
But if we're talking about strong coffee, then I drink Kopi Luwak:
Quote:Kopi luwak (Malay pronunciation: [ˈkopi ˈlu.aʔ]), or civet coffee, is one of the world's most expensive and low-production coffee. It is made from the beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by the Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) and other related civets, then passed through its digestive tract.[1] A civet eats the berries for their fleshy pulp. In its stomach, proteolytic enzymes seep into the beans, making shorter peptides and more free amino acids. Passing through a civet's intestines the beans are then defecated, keeping their shape. After gathering, thorough washing, sun drying, light roasting and brewing, these beans yield an aromatic coffee with much less bitterness, widely noted as the most expensive coffee in the world.
Kopi luwak is produced mainly on the islands of Sumatra, Java, Bali and Sulawesi in the Indonesian Archipelago, and also in the Philippines (where the product is called motit coffee in the Cordillera and kape alamid in Tagalog areas) and also in East Timor (where it is called kafé-laku). Weasel coffee is a loose English translation of its name cà phê Chồn in Vietnam, where popular, chemically simulated versions are also produced.
Sauce
And I drink this .. probably.. near daily too.

I avoid coffee. I sometimes drink tea, but maybe two or three times a week at most.

I abhor the taste of black coffee, and have seen how dependent people are on it (see: my mother and several close friends) that, as much as it would be nice for the "energy boost" here or there, I'd like to not drink it so frequently I NEED a cup or two just to get up in the morning. I haven't read all of the science behind it, and am sure it's like some alcoholic beverages, in that there are some good health benefits from drinking small, daily amounts in moderation, but I'm more for 100% guaranteed good things for you like tea and vegetables. That being said, I'll drink it on occasion if it's mixed into lots of tasty things (like flavored creamers or the Starbucks Frappuchino), or, like Kurtle, if it's "one of those days" and I can't survive without it.
Those are so few and far between though that I just drink tea. Tea, tea, tea. So good for you and so good .

The only coffee I ever drink is coffee from places like Starbucks. Loaded with sweetness and sugar and cream to the point where it may not even contain much coffee in itself. Even at that, I drink starbucks once in a blue moon. If I happen to be near one with cash and an inkling for coffee, then I'll get something.
I prefer Bubble Tea over Coffee anyway.

I've never drank coffee before, and in general it's not really big in my house. We're more into tea around here.

I usually only drink it when I have breakfast with my friends and that's hardly ever anymore. I prefer strong coffee with lots of milk.

I always get my coffee with one milk, one sugar be it from Timmy's or Starbucks. When I'm feeling like crap I'll get a Caramel Macchiato just for a little energy boost.
The problem with tea is that I'll never stop drinking it. I'm more partial to Asian teas though I won't say no to a cup of Red Rose. In the summer, I have a nice recipe for a cooled tea. In a large pot I boil water with dates, wolfberries, chrysanthemum, ginseng, and a tiny bit rock sugar. After being chilled, it is a totally refreshing drink with health benefits .

I hardly ever drink black coffee. Normally it's just lots of milk with a little coffee.
Though I have a passion for capuccino, it's not used for waking up or anything like that.

Coffee is a must where I work. Having said that, I only work about 2 days a week, so that is about how much I have coffee on a regular basis.
Although I have been having it a lot more these days when I go out, because hot drinks helps to sooth my cough... o.O

I don't like coffee. Don't even like coffee flavored ice-cream or cookies or the like.
When I need a hot drink, it's tea. Ordinary black tea, with sugar (or sucralose) and mint if available. Occasionally with milk (but in that case, no mint).

I drink it everyday, strong flavored and without milk or sugar. I start to feel sick when I stop drinking it for a while, so pretty addicted.
I am also 6.5 feet tall, so I don't think it stunts growth.

You drink tea? Oh, cool.
Presto George
It's a place up in Pittsburgh that sells high quality coffee and tea. I refuse to drink tea from retail stores, because they all taste terrible. I'm going to have to say that I'm a huge fan of Oolong, and Black Tea. I do drink Rooibos from time to time though (but I guess that's not technically a real tea..). Teas are extremely easy to get along with too, since there's so many varieties. You can also mix and match a bit if you know what you're doing, like mixing different types of Black Teas with each other. What I hate doing wrong is having the temperature for the water too high, especially for teas like Oolong. Because if it's at an incorrect temperature, either the leaves gets burned, which then leaves an extremely bitter taste.. or it just seems like the leaves didn't soak in there long enough.
Also, would you know what this is?
A friend let me tried it once, and it's aged tea that's pressed down into a coin or cake form. It's not bad at all, he had to chip away at the cake so that the tea leaves would come off. It was . . . interesting. Tastes wonderful though, not sure what the Chinese name for this would be called. I think he said that this originated over in China.

My parents are coffee maniacs. They started out with one cup in the morning with milk and sugar. And soon their need for it grew and grew until now they drink it no milk no sugar, just raw coffee, two cups in the morning (well containers, they take it to work) and a cup in the late afternoon (5 o' clock).
I don't drink it because I don't need it and I don't want to get addicted to it. Not to mention I probably won't like it's taste.
