Black and White recent happenings thread!

[color="#cc8899"]Bred a +DEF/-Speed Ferroseed with very nice IVs for its intended purpose (unfortunately got LOW SPD IVs, but he's a physical tank anyway) that has Stealth Rock from the Roggenrola that sired it. Am happy. Now to find some decent DEF pokemon to levelgrind it on (Klinks and other Ferroseeds give pure DEF, but only 1 :/)

Managed to use a Pokétransferred Gamestop Celebi on my EU White to get Zorua yesterday. Weird stuff is weird.

Still busy with the post game stuff (2 routes and the Abyssal Ruins left). I decided to sell most of the stuff I found so far to various NPCs (the food one next to Nimbasa, the ore one in Iccurus and some of the Relic items I found to the guy in Undella). Made a ton of money. Also decided to try out Entralink with a friend, but since he was at the 2nd badge I couldn't do any mission myself, but it's cool to have someone else randomly run around on your screen.

That entralink, do you have to be near the other person or is it done over wifi?

I'm at the dragon gym. Going to have to train a bit because the very first Fraxure I met wrecked half of my team after two Sword Dances. -_-;

Yup. I believe it has the same range as the Union Room (no clue what that range really is, but certainly not big enough to go from Texas to New Jersey).

Anyways, I'm cleaning up the last few trainers in the post game now, all that's left are a few trainers in the Challenger's Cave, daily battles with Cheren, Cynthia, Morimoto, the Royal Unova (also daily) and the upgraded Pokémon league.

My team right now:

Once I'm done with the ingame stuff I'm going to make sure my competitive Pokémon will be up to date with the 5th gen stuff, (re)make some (new) Pokémon, and then go do Battle Subway / random online. I should still check if you can do free mode battles right now. I know that ranked battles aren't available until Global Link is up, but I don't know if free mode requires game sync (it doesn't according to Serebii).

Okay I take back what I said earlier on it being slower, it does feel faster than diamond/pearl. Maybe because I've gotten used to it by now haha. Anyway I don't remember my pokemon dying more often in the previous games

What I did was just lose to N and soft reset if I didn't like the nature. Losing to either N or Dennis/Ghetsis will send you back to the Pokémon Center at the league (which has a Plasma Grunt inside which can send you back to the castle).

Ugh, so many of the good items are only available trough the Battle Subway. I'm going to need at least 350 or so BP before I can buy everything I need.

Get a Ferroseed, give it Rocky Helmet. You'll troll half of the early fights to death.

Route 4 wouldn't help you either way. It's a desert, no tall grass, so no Audinos.

Oh boy,I may have found a way to find out if zekrom has a attack centric nature without having to suicide to N/Dennis. Not sure if its accurate, but I'm still testing it.
