'FFFFFFF' Moments in Video Gaming

When my Dragon Quest 5 was ruined within which I had a liquid metal slime in my party which was also the first one I had SEEN in the game.
As such you can understand my rage at said awesomeness being lost. Merc soloed the final boss for me too as I was pretty underleveled.

Running into Ruby, the 3rd weapon in Golden Saucer for the first time in FF7. Also, Emerald from the same game glides over you, slo mo.... shift shoulder, bam, 9999 on all 3 chars....

FF7 was one of my first PS game, and I have to say, those weapons are a lot harder than the rest of the normal bosses, and it makes you feel more accomplished than finishing the game itself

- Megaman Battle Network 6: Looking for something in the post-game area, 200 HP left. The strongest bonus boss in the game then shows up as a random encounter. Run attempt failed. Game over a second later because he starts off with an almost undodgable attack.
- Pokemon Sapphire: 40-something win streak in the Battle Tower. Got my arse kicked by a freaking Sableye with Double Team hax.
- Pokemon Fire Red: Ran into a shiny Abra before the second or third gym. Tossed a Pokeball, failed to capture. The Abra teleports away.
- Golden Sun TLA: Dullahan. Djiin Storm. [CENSORED] DJIIN STORM.
- Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: Escorting Countess Chorrol's son through an Oblivion Gate. Enemy steps backward off a bridge and into the lava below. [CENSORED]ING MORONIC A.I. DICTATES THAT HE ABSOLUTELY MUST CHASE AFTER HIM.

Basically he was the someone who lived his life in reverse and his "princess" was his mother who he ended up stalking? Please correct me if I'm wrong, it does indeed have me going FFFFFF.

A couple personal ones:

-.Hack//Quarantine : Bonus dungeon. 2nd to last floor, going over-infected or whatever it was called.
-Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter : Realizing that the counter at the top cannot be brought down through any means several hours further into the game with 99.3%.
-Valkyrie Profile : Realizing I can't make the "good end" on my first run mid-way through.
-Megaman Legends 2 : Wondering why kicking bunnies/squirrels/whatever (blame the influence of Radiata stories) makes me darker thinking it was some sort of odd glitch only to realize the only way to undo what I did would be to pay 2 MILLION z. Which happened to be needed for some of the better items in the game.
-Mario Galaxy 2 : Final ultimate challenge comet.
-Disgaea 2 : Poisoning the level 100 dark world gatekeeper as a level 4 and causing me to be randomly pulled into impossible battles while running through the game.

Gamecube memory card corruption. I had the few RPGs saved on it along with a huge number of party game unlocks. Also, I nearly had 100% on Sonic Adventure Battle 2 so that I could unlock the remake of the very first sonic stage.

Corrupt files on my PS2 card that cannot be deleted (thankfully after the scare with the GC loss, I have 3 versions of all my save files spread across several cards so as to not lose multiple 100+ hour saves).

I'm still not sure if I got it.

Essentially, Tim (the player character) was part of the manhattan project, and his "princess" is the A-bomb. And you play the entire game backwards, hence why world one is a burning town (or something along those lines)

I'm kidding. My friend and I still play Doom together sometimes on Nightmare mode. Even with co-op, that sh'it gets hard.

Starcraft: Hearing "Nuclear Launch Detected" and not playing Terran... searching for that blinking red dot and still having enough time to send a detector and units to kill the Ghost.

Thankfully, as a puzzle game, it doesn't take very long to redo everything. Getting most of the stars was a lot of fun.

Finishing Shining Force I and II and realizing I had gotten the bad endings and missed on a lot of stuff >_>
