Black and White recent happenings thread!

Currently using;

Lv25 Dewott
Lv23 Drilbur
Lv24 Tranquill
Lv21 Herdier (Most likely going to replace it for something else)
Lv21 Zorua
Lv27 Zebstrika

Currently training my team into the mid/late 20s before I proceed.

EDIT: A note on my above statement.
In no way is this a turn off for me. In fact, I embrace it. I'm tired of Pokemon being so damn EASY, and for once, they give me a game that can hand me my ass if I don't pay attention. I'm experiencing challenges comparable to fighting Tate and Liza with Blaziken, and I'm enjoying every moment of it.

So, is Unfezant worth it?

It sucks. It has a decent attack stat but it practically doesn't even learn any useful physical moves via level up..

to be honest, the only Pokemon I think that are worth catching before the 2nd gym town are Drilbur and Lillipup.

Now I can suicide train on the Elite Four!

I'd noticed this. Nice attack stat, but all its main moves until Sky Attack are special.

Yea, this game is so damn hard. Remember before, you would just crush everything in one hit. I've actually died in pokemon games. That's probably very rare for any of us~
I think I'll ditch my zebstrika when I get the fire/bug egg. Too bad it's an egg though... mang, I'll have to go grind on audinos all day.

Slower as in how? Battle speed is WAY faster and movement speed is the same. The only way I could understand saying it's slower is in progression but that's only because there's a big focus on the story and it's also much more difficult so you can't just plow through it in 8 hours with your starter like every other game.

I don't know, I find the battle speed slower. There's a lot of animations going on that makes it appear to be slower such as the very start of throwing the pokeball and releasing the pokemon or the long animation scenes(using watergun seems like it takes ages). I like watching the animations so I don't turn it off. It's the same thing with diamond/pearl so it's not a very big deal though and doesn't affect the overall experience as it's still pretty fun and addicting.

Oh man, the Elite Four completely walks all over my current team. I do fine until I run into that one Pokemon that seems to have the right attacks to cover all of my team's weaknesses. >.>

The battle speed is muuuuccchhhh faster, I don't get what you mean. I might keep my liligant instead of zebstrika. Quiver dance + Petal dance + Own temp = win
