They're trying as much as they can to market the game I guess. Seen its commercial on this months EGM too..

In Tespia the Golden Temple and Mardi Gras events are active. This can either mean that a) Lionheart will be released before those events are over in the live servers or b) they used copy pasta.
Earlier Tespia terms did not have events going that was not a part of the package so to speak. I'm a pessimistic one, but I wanted to give hope to those that aint.

Why do the work twice?

In Tespia the Golden Temple and Mardi Gras events are active. This can either mean that a) Lionheart will be released before those events are over in the live servers or b) they used copy pasta.
Earlier Tespia terms did not have events going that was not a part of the package so to speak. I'm a pessimistic one, but I wanted to give hope to those that aint.

This is only because those two events are Calendar based. The events are active because today's date is within the event range. It in no way indicates that we will get the next patch within that time frame. Remember, all the events for 3 months are already patched in now that they are doing a quarterly patch schedule. They are merely activated during the appropriate time frame. Tespia data is still inclusive of patch 95. (It's not copypasta. It's just cumulative.)

Golden Temple's end date was changed to the 22nd. So it could be the former. Either that or the update is on the 22nd but that would NOT make that early March. :I
