Went into the sandstorm area before taking on the next gym leader, and I caught a scraggy with shed skin. If it's defense weren't sh'it I'd be loving it.

It should be pretty bulky once it evolves. It gets 65/115/115 defenses.

Boy oh boy, did some hardcore grinding and beat the 4th and 5th gyms in between classes today.

Man, chargestone cave sure has a bunch of encounters.

Palpitoad just evolved into Seismitoad. Yeahhh

Herdier is not buffeted by sand, despite being purely normal type...

this is awesome.

I love Chargestone Cave. Except that Grass/Water Pokemon are not recommended like a typical cave.

They're surprisingly difficult.

I keep losing against my brother. Half my damn team is weak to flying attacks, so he can easily switch in his monkey and Acrobat spam on all of them. QQ

Also I'm starting the quest where you need to follow that flying gym leader to that one place.

EDIT: is it just me or did they increase the wild encounter rate? I was trying to get out of this 5 step long grass, but i ran into 3 wild pokemon..

Encounter rate is extremely high in really tall grass.

ikr happened to me, I was going in 3 steps for an audino, but nope, wild battle. ;<

I lucked out and got a Hasty Snivy first try. Ludicrous speed get.

No SRs or repeats or nothing.. just plain luck on first tries.. get on my level.

I entered the Cold Storage with my Victini thinking "I'm gonna raep this place!"

Yeah. One would think the Cold Storage would have a lot of Ice Pokemon, but it only has one.
