it's not right, but it's fun, so are blond jokes and your mom jokes, offensive? why yea, however, some people see the joke, an only the joke.

You see, the beauty of this thread is that it has many different ways to look at it.

One can be that I'm being racist, as some of you are taking it.

One can be that I'm talking about whites who act black, Asians who act black, or the like.

Another way could be that I'm suggesting being a nigger, in the term of simple ignorance, is not solely deemed to the ethnicity of color. This could also mean I'm implying something about former slavery of white people over black people or just the fact that the word "nigger" used in the terms of colored people can be understood as one person calling another ignorant.

Coming from Mississippi, "Nigger" doesn't quite affect me as it does you all. Then again, I come from the Deep south, so yeh...

Even here in Virginia, I hear it as every other word. I would say almost the majority of people here in Virginia Beach are black. That being, I don't know if this works elsewhere like this, but I've had a lot of black people call me "nigger." I've also heard them call just about every other white person a "nigger." Yes, with the "r," not "nigguh," "nigga," or whatever the f'uck they say the white people screw it up with. I always hear them pronounce the 'r.'

Where's the part in history where those jokes where used as defacement and detrimental beating of another individual because of a difference in birth?

And FYI the secondary definition (person of ignorance) arose from it's original definition (black person) because that's what they were considered to be by those of "superior race", so it's, more or less, racist regardless.

By the way, slavery was over a very long time ago. By the rules of time and space, it was declared funny many decades ago.
