Madoka episodes 1 through 9 - Alright you guys, not being able to read half of the posts in this thread because of Modoka Magica has finally gotten to me, so I went and spent this whole day watching it and finally getting to read all of your thoughts on the show. I'm not ashamed to admit that I almost passed this gem up because it was under the Magical Girl genre, the same way I almost passed up TTGL because it was a mecha anime, but now I'm pissed off because if I had watched this show from the beginning I could have thrown in my own theories about the plot and probably contributed a lot more to this thread. In any case the show kicks ass and I hope to contribute a lot more for the remaining episodes, but man it sucks that all of the speculations I've made are no longer needed because they were covered by someone else or confirmed a few episodes later.

Freezing Ep 9 - Holy pomegranate. All I have to say is...pomegranate's gone to hell now. Those things aren't just Type-S, they're essentially Type-SS...to top it off, there are FOUR of them.

Fractale - 7 - Wow, beautiful episode. Xanadu was just gorgeous, and Nessa is now 10 times cooler than before.

Babypenis - 9 - Tricky tricky, MK 5 people, making them fight like that. Aoi is cool in my books.

By the way, I checked out the manga because I was unable to handle the suspense...and it kinda gets worse...

Star Driver - 22 - Epic story was epic. I am almost sure they wont finish the story in the next 3 episodes, I mean they just went and let slip a huge plot twist with the Vice President (the lil fox). Laughed hard at Sugata faking being knocked out, but I hope it develops a relation between them.

Oniichan no Koto - 9 - I feel this anime is eh for the most part, with sprinkled goodness here and there in each episode. such as;

same thing happened to me. I just started watching this last week because someone told me it was REALLY REALLY good and that he thought of skipping over it as well.

One of the best shows this season easily on par with Onii-chan.

I don't think so. They're bodies don't seem to age, considering Sakura had made the contract long before the story started while retaining the appearance of a teenage girl. Homura could meet Madoka any number of years into the future and still be able to look like a teenager because of the nature of the soul stones.

How does their bodies not aging mean that Homura couldn't be Madoka's daughter? If Homura became a Mashou Shoujo at the same age as Mami then she would look the same age.

That reminds me- I meant to comment on this ages ago, but forgot to (unless I'm forgetting that I did)- I think it was Khoi that brought up that during the possible alternate reality in the OP, Madoka was a magical girl for longer due to her older-looking body. If they don't age... how'd that happen? :x

Eu transforming her pen into a scythe and stabbing him with it. Epic. (The pen is indeed, mightier than the sword)
The revelation that Aiyumu was killed because he made Eu smile, and that all of the megalo showing up since then have been because she has been happy. very sad
The giant.. doll thing... that was ridiculous. I never noticed that all the Megalo wore school uniforms until Aiyumu pointed it out.
I almost blanked out when Maelstrom was damaged and started talking like a robot, i was thinking "Vampire Robot Ninja? surely not!" This was not the case.

I guess Madoka could go and just get layed without being married, but her personality just seems way to innocent for that. After all, the most common theory for why Kyubey is interested in her is because of her "purity."

Dragon Crisis ep.9 - It seems like this show has become more or less episodic now, kind of like Index. It's not necessarily a bad thing, since I like having an episodic show to watch on occasion to just kick back and relax with, but I was hoping there would be a deeper story with this show. I guess I'll just need to shift this show out of my list of story driven animes, and put in my list of relaxation shows with Index.

Star Driver 22: Who knew that to make a good Star Driver episode, all they had to do was not include any robot fights? It really seems like they're building up for a big finale. :f6: at the sudden character twist with the President and Vice President of the drama club.

Level E 9: Good epsiode, though I wonder what the Prince's alternate plan was to save humanity. Color rangers are back next week it seems. I wish they would bring back the characters from the first few episodes though.

My guess on the plan, is to have one of the Dogurians replace the girl instead of a clone.

Kimi ni Todoke 9: Why did Joe have to walk in?! Anyways, I really liked how the whole confession scene had them separated by the classroom door, symbolizing the barrier that had been between them, and then Kazehaya opened the door and pulled her in. Pin was awesome in this episode as well. I just hope that they don't drag out Sawako and Kazehaya getting together over the last few episodes and actually shows them as a couple.
