So uhm, it it safe to go to CwK now?

I've been wondering about this since I need to get my Deputy Star and I need to kill some BigFoots for that...

Does anyone know if it's FINALLY safe to go there now?

I also asked Fiel in-game, but he said that we should wait for a statement from Nexon. But Nexon is -never- going to admit (NX Claims) that they f`ucked up their own manual patcher and some people got autobanned because of that...

Now I downloaded the whole game again, so the manual patcher thing has nothing to do with me. But can I be 100% sure if I won't get banned for hunting for BigFoots?

Is there anyone who's training in Crimsonwood Forrest for two weeks now and did NOT get auto-banned? Or did everyone just abandon Crimsonwood? :')

I'm going to explore lower ascent as a training option, so we'll see. If you redownloaded the whole thing, you shouldn't have a problem.

The auto patcher that was glitched (Without the 2 ropes, which leads to the ban) has only been up for a few hours. Nexon fixed it quick by updating it to a working version. O_o

They never fixed the MANUAL patcher, though. I manual patched from .59 like two weeks after the patch and didn't have the ropes.

Uhm, I reinstalled MS on my PC 'cause the manual patcher didn't work, but on my laptop a few days later it worked fine & the ropes are there in both versions. (Laptop & PC)

I've been through there several times now that I reinstalled. (My map.wz was the wrong size, indicating that the manual patcher I used put in the wrong maps.) I've had no problems at all, so if you downloaded the game again (and you have the new rope to show it) you should be fine.

It's been perfectly fine for me. I leveled by HH hunting...no ban.

They put in a rope in the top right side of bent tree, so you can actually get to that portal now, whereas before, you couldnt.

Lol, I was wondering if people are ever gonna find out how to get to that portal, because according to the maps, that portal is 1 way only.

I have always used the manual patch, because they tend to DL faster than the auto patch (manual patch takes about 10~30 mins, auto patch can take up to twice that time), I have since re-DLed the whole client, but I am still too scared to go to CWK, but I am going to go there on one of my mules and check it out... see what hapens o.o

i went through there to get to typhons. its amazing to see how many headless horsemans and bigfoots are just running around there without anyone killing them.

Ok, afked the whole night on my mule in the bent tree map channel 1 in khaini, didn't get banned, so yeah I presume it's safe...

If your map.wz is anything other than '428,198,693 bytes' large, reinstall MapleStory or else you risk getting caught by the autoban.

I am not going into CWK. I don't care what they say right now, they keep fucking up. Put simply, I don't want a disciplinary record because of Nexon's stupidity. Once it is universally accepted that you cannot get nuked for going in there, THEN I'll go take a look. Until then, Newties provide me with perfectly good XP at no risk and Bigfoot doesn't exactly replace Anego, Zakum, Pianus, Pap, and HT.
