Aka. Previously invited since they brought it back.
I was in the 3rd wave of Tespia back when Ariant came and I wasn't selected.

I'm just surprised it goes till the 7th. Makes me highly confused as to when it'll actually come out. If golden temple ends on the 22nd, unless they plan to do this patch in between...why test for such a short time?

EDIT: NVM they changed GT's end date...I still think its the 15th.

Tespia Round 3: once again, another epic fail.
Cody is the NPC proof that Nexon don't learn from their mistakes and they don't listen the userbase. Making feedback reports and forum threads was completely useless.
Once again, Nexon, thank you for making our testing job more difficult than it already is.
I also completely disagree with them not choosing new people. They should've expelled old ones who didn't do their jobs and selected new ones.

He works, but he only levels you up and gives you a reverse set.
He does not do job advance or give skillbooks.
Good luck hunting wraiths or drum bunnies for 10 DC ores so you can job advance to test things like the new cygnus skills and UA. Good luck testing Lion King castle with no Advance Combo, Advanced Charged Blow, Triple Throw, or any other skill that drops from Zakum. Good luck killing Zakum with 100'ed gear and 3rd job skills. Oh yeah, fun will be had.

Having stayed away from Nexon for a while, I started to view them as human beings again. Reading this thread really just blew it for me, I don't even know WHAT to call them.

welp never mind on testing... stupid pin glitch. It didn't accept the pin I used to use. And resetting my pin via the website didn't work. It still asked for my pin instead of letting me enter a new one.

Just wow. This is all a joke.
They left many major bugs of old rounds such as PIN request for some accounts, brought back old major bugs which are the chat lag and the sudden major lags in the connection player-server, didn't yet realise that they should at least increase the drop rates to make it easier for us to test, didn't yet realise that, if they really don't want to change the drop rates, they should've at least made Cody give essential items for a smooth testing, and much more.
I can't believe Tespia is so poorly managed. I wouldn't be surprised if those who manage it weren't paid at all.

I had had some hope for them at one point. I knew that the code itself was somewhat of a patchwork job so there could actually have been some difficulty in fixing all the bugs throughout the game, but...
Now it seems to me that they either don't believe that the community will actually help them at all, so they don't bother investing much time into the open testing; or their internal QA is just as bad. I suppose my image of QA is a bit different since my old office was a big company that was primarily into console releases that rarely had updates, so they called in people only when then needed them. But there were still hundreds of people available to be on call for the job if need be. Yeah, the OLS department was somewhat smaller (GMs in layman's terms), and there wasn't a 24/7 cycle for it, but there were people specifically assigned for it. Now all I can imagine is that they have less than 20 internal QA testers per title and 3 or so coders per title. Any which way I look at it, the QA department seems understaffed for the schedule the higher ups want to push. Granted, this is all conjecture from what's been presented.

Unfortunately, that's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I really want to test the Cygnus-Explorer thing, but the thought of spending hours hunting DC ores to job advance two chars is so off-putting...
Heck, even the second job advance, which for warriors (my favorite class) requires half an hour of chasing down sparse mummydog spawn with an abysmal black marble drop rate, has me furiously procrastinating...
So yeah, I can't imagine very many people being so dedicated to testing as to jump through all these hoops. They will get little participation and they will say, "See? The community doesn't really want to test, they just want Tespia so they can have advance info of upcoming patches."
Come on, Nexon. Is it that hard to give us testing conditions so we don't have to waste a whole day out of 3 or 4 just getting into position to test? We want to test, honest we do, but we're not complete masochists.
