Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

So I crunched numbers for Anivia's ult once more. Turns out the break-even point for the old Anivia and the new for lvl 1 ult is now 4 seconds, while the other two levels are at 4.5 seconds. Oh dang, that's a nice touch, letting a good breather on the lvl 1 ult xD

Also while I am bored, I thought about the viability of a Smite-less jungle Soraka. Expect ganks? No, not so much. But do expect surprise ults. Other than that... blegh. Good for certain team combinations nevertheless, when you're lacking a jungler. Will give it a test when I have the chance.

So here's something interesting. Someone made a topic reporting that the latest beta "standalone" client is letting people play with all of their sound drivers enabled, even if they have a headset plugged in. I decided to give it a shot and surprisingly, I was able to get into a full game on my smurf and play just fine without any interrupts / crashes.

It's worth a shot to people if they're having the sound error as well.

Last time i entered LoL theres was a minor download of something, ill try later to see if is a fix for the problem.

Edit2: The game is indeed fixed (At least i could enter a Custom game with bots).

I need some janna item build help, I think it kinda depends on the scenario, but what items are recommended for her? Last game I ended up with a morello's tome, mobility boots, frozen heart, abyssal scepter and a chalice (not in that order but.... w/e).... so, any tips? (To build as support, so I can BE there and help my team survive and disable enemies, clearly not to carry)

Hmm, cdr boots are very good and soul shroud is also a good item(the health item with cdr aura) banshee's veil is good, frozen heart could work too. Janna doesnt really need ap to be useful, so items with auras on them are great, ones that also help you stay alive are even better. Oh yeah aegis is a good item too. Starting off just stacking doran's rings and buying wards is fine if you can stay alive. And keep in mind that playing support janna, you are putting all your success on your teammates, mostly the carry, so dont try a build in only one game and decide if its good or bad, also try to keep in mind who you are supporting and get items that might help them. Ive seen janna build starks and honestly, if you can the gold and a team that can get use from it, build it.

I would say AP/Support. Unless that's what you meant by hybrid. XD

With a stun that scales based on distance and several auras, he's probably best staying next to the carry and babysitting them instead of being in the fight.
Although he will need lots of mana items to keep his ult running.

How about this item build i came up in my recent Custom vs bots. Manamune>Nashor Tooth>Morello>Some boots>Chalice (In a 5vs5 with golem buff i can keep my ultimate longer)>And i was gonna use Hextech Revolver at last (Didn't actually build it)

Edit: If i can get a solid build with taric i would not mind buying since hes a pretty good all rounder if done right.

Nashor's Tooth and Chalice I agree with. I'd throw an Aegis and Soul Shroud on there, boots, and... one... more AP item, I can't think of anything. You could drop the Aegis for another AP item if you really wanted to.

For AP I'd suggest Abyssal, rylai's or Deathcap.

Just tested out Caitlyn's new ultimate. It didn't seem that much faster to be honest, and the range increase didn't really seem that much better.

What about the chargeup time? That's probably the most significant buff on Caitlyn's ult, as that is what the enemy uses to prepare themselves to intercept your shot. 150% bullet speed increase is just gravy on top.


Just tried out "stealth" jungle Soraka. So glad I tried it in a practice game, because I couldn't get a foothold anywhere without falling behind severely.

I'm also forming the opinion that Soraka causes more frustration for the other team than it does create fun for the benefiting team. They're always like "omfg I hate Soraka" and I end up getting focused inevitably, if not by one guy, then by the whole team. That squishy over there doing the DPS? Nevermind him, just focus Soraka!

God how i hate playing a 5vs5 >.>. Most of the time i end up paired with a freaking team that is freaking coordinated and wipe the floor with our faces after freaking 20min T.T

Okay wth HotShotGG and a couple others were making smurfs and playing for who knows how long o.O He has a main smurf named "Kakasoul" or something, and now he's playing on "oh lawd u mad". But he has been mostly doing ranked games.
