Silly me accepting a logout gift this morning, I lost a Vicious Hammer in the rollback and didn't get any NX for it. Not hopeful for a ticket... though it is NX. So I dunno.

That's what I'm thinking. In my opinion, Nexon values their employees very much. Just from the glimpses in the Blabber Box videos, Nexon seems to have a nice working environment. Monthly/annual activities, a personal massage therapist, among other benefits seem pretty nice too.

Of course I'm sure the overnight maintenances are pretty miserable but somebody needs to get it done.

i dunno, this kind of reminds me to that leaked MWLB form, which basically said "you work for us under these rules, if you break any of them, we can sue your ass, oh, and you ain't getting paid either"

and i'd love the overnight maintenances, insomnia FTW

Yeah, sorry about not bringing that up. I planned on saying something since I had had this happen to me before, but my memory of it was uncertain, so I didn't say anything then. Force closed the 4 I got logout gifts on today, and sure enough, I can still redeem them now.

Chances are they will credit you. I was refunded NX from wheels/karmas used during unexpected rollbacks, but I guess there's a record of transaction in those cases too.

Of course we talk about compensation but the hopes of free Maple Points will not be satisfied with this issue. It seems it has become a trend to abuse things for Maple Points. This is not me saying that was our reasoning for not giving out Maple Points this time. Additional compensation events will be announced later.

Actually, I had just found a SS20 book when logging in on my mules before the RB. I was just excited in trying to use it ASAP.

I posted this during the "job payment discussion" so I'm not surprised that no one saw it.

Also, I just don't like posting a new thread on Scroll Lock just for this.

In the end this rollback did not hurt that much for me. I found the seller I had bought a helmet from, and it turned unique in 7 cubes instead of 30+. I lost 4,5% at 190, but that is acceptable. The only issue I have is that I need to ticket them about my NX refund since it was more than 50k. God knows how long that'll take.

Aww. I had come to rely on NEXON's unreliability as a steady source of income since MTS taxes ruin any hopes of earning things the slow and steady way. ... I'm serious.

Although, I can understand I don't deserve it on all my accounts, but I did lose a level and the completion of an annoying quest that had me killing mobs 15 levels higher than me that could weaken, blind, stun, and slow. This is on a cygnus near max level, so even when I hit max (which would invalidate even doing the quest), I won't be able to hit them 100%. They apparently ignored updating job quest with BB, which is yet another great letdown to me. I hate the ignorance towards plot consistency that people show here, but I suppose that means the majority simply accepts it; but when it comes to a quest not actually functioning in a fashion that is feasible within reasonable limits, it is just not professional.

or maybe because every exploit/glitch that happens on maple, everyone is like: "omg another exploit, brb logging on my 1239712312 accounts to get free nx "

in the end, everyone is "exploiting" nexon generosity, making them stop giving the free nx. don't blame nexon but everyone that post they are logging in every account to get the free nx.

Yeah but a simple 2x weekend event isn't going to cover it either.

If they were smart they would make it so characters who were logged in for like 30 minutes or maybe an hour would get the free Maple Points.

'Sides. If I recall correctly they took the game down pretty quickly. I was gunna log on myself to abuse the glitch but the game was down.
