They were temp positions though :O?

Quote:This is temporary position located in our Los Angeles, California office with employment being handled by a third party vendor. Shift hours and days may vary as department hours are adjusted. Applicants need to be available to work additional overtime hours and weekends as needed.

Details:
Start Date: April 13, 2009
End Date: June 30, 2009

That explains some things.

Yeah. From March 09. High memory indeed.

And Locked, that's to be a GM. Even a stupid @computer guy like me could do that.

Doesn't change the degree of low-balling.

Looking at the post, the employment was done by a third party. In this case, the employment company is also charging Nexon. One of my relatives got work from an employment company and only received half the salary while the other half was given to the employment company.

Which means Nexon wasn't necessarily doing the low-balling?

Doesn't always work that way, many temp agencies charge more to make the amount the temp gets livable. An example I know of is a coworker who was making 60k because the temp agency was charging 80k. Making 9$ an hour in LA, even via a temp agency, is sick.

Delicae Wrote:Which means Nexon wasn't necessarily doing the low-balling?

Certainly does. Nexon set the price they were willing to pay the 3rd party which set the price the 3rd party could offer. The alternative is Nexon set the price they were willing the employees to be making and the company told them the markup over that. Either way Nexon was directly responsible for the amount the temps would've made.

That would prevent you from having the same memories as me, wouldn't it?

Game's up.

Thanks for lighting up the day Eos. Haha I liked it.

That's what I'm thinking. In my opinion, Nexon values their employees very much. Just from the glimpses in the Blabber Box videos, Nexon seems to have a nice working environment. Monthly/annual activities, a personal massage therapist, among other benefits seem pretty nice too.

Of course I'm sure the overnight maintenances are pretty miserable but somebody needs to get it done.

Why yes, yes it would.

Waiters & Waitresses technically get less than minimum wage since most of their income comes from tips. If they get less than what they should be making if they were paid minimum wage then the manager makes up the difference.

I had bought a pair of green mittens with some mesos from this and put it in the mts, it's still there after the rollback. >.< I wish I woulda put more things in there.

Silly me accepting a logout gift this morning, I lost a Vicious Hammer in the rollback and didn't get any NX for it. Not hopeful for a ticket... though it is NX. So I dunno.
