The biggest problem they have is the fact they are actually IN California. If they want real folks who work hard and get stuff done, they need to come to the northeast.

They match 401k, health/dental/vision, if you ride the bus THEY PAY FOR YOU TO GO TO WORK.

Hell, they even attempt to ensure their employees don't catch the flu.

They don't, that's the point.
You can go on about how wonderful the benefits are all you want but you don't know what the actual salary is so can't even begin to guess at how horrible the compensation for everything they want really is.

It is more than uncommon for a website to state wages for open jobs.

The current minimum wage for the state of California is 8 dollars an hour. If they are requiring their employees to be well versed in previously stated fields of knowledge, then I doubt they are only paying 10 dollars an hour.

Maplers, your quick reports and concerns were crucial to minimize the effect of the potion/food-selling NPC issue from long-term adverse affects on the economy. Unfortunately, some damage has been done and we must restore all MapleStory servers to 12AM this morning, a point during the scheduled maintenance. Because the issue was quickly caught this restore point will minimally affect our players.

All NX and Maple Points spent during the impacted period will be returned along with a 24-hour extension to Cash items. We did process name changes and world transfers during the scheduled maintenance and the restore point will undo the work. Players who find their name change or world transfer item expire upon logging in will receive Maple Points to repurchase the service. Additional compensation events will be announced later.

We do not have an estimate time when the game will be available again as we are working on performing all the tasks listed above. Once we confirm a schedule we will post it immediately.

Once again, we would like to extend a big thank you to the Maplers who were a big help in identifying the issue. Please remember if you encounter something fishy or suspicious with the game, report it immediately!

I would except the damn thing insists that it's working exactly as it should be and nothing changed to back out and after the day I've had I'm having a hard time giving a damn any more.

Wait, they performed maintenance from 10pm to 3am, but they're rolling back to 12am? How does that work? Do they mean 12pm, or 10pm March 1st? There technically was no activity 2/2 @12am...so they'd just roll back to right before the servers went down. I leveled from 74 to 83 from 4am to 7am >__<. what a bummer.
