Hmm... if they've had job openings that long, don't you think that means they lack workers?

Maybe, just maybe, they need to start paying more than peanuts?

More like lack of applicants.
Their benefits aren't exactly the most amazing benefits.

I'm not talking about the entire process, I'm talking about the process of updating the notice. It doesn't take 30 minutes to do that. I wouldn't give a dam if it took another 4 hours to fix it, as long as they'd let us know what's going on through the notice. I'm sure only less than half of the active user base actually visits their forums lol
And who said I'm getting worked up?

Actually Nexon's benefits are really nice.
Its what they require from you is kind of intense. Say you wanted to be one of those people who prepare the programs, scripts and servers for a new build.
You'd need:
Must have experience implementing best practices, including documentation, analysis, training, and auditing
Must have knowledge of C++, C#
Must have scripting experience (e.g., Shell, Perl, PHP and/or Python)
Experienced with Perforce or GIT - This is mandatory
Must be extremely detail-oriented
Experience developing in Visual Studio and Linux

lol?
These are pretty much just build on with each other. If you can do one thing, you'll either need to learn the other or you know it already. It's actually quite basic. Their benefits are supposed to be what draws you into the work force, if your benefits seem lacklustre then no one would apply.

I don't know who your comparing these benefits with but those given by Nexon are quite good, even compared to other high-skilled jobs.

That's a silly argument. I could very well say it's so easy to work at McDonalds, why shouldn't I work at McDonalds? Making fries or taking care of the register isn't exactly the hardest thing to do.

Look around.
Easiest example off the top of my mind would be loldropbox.

Agreed. Massage therapy sessions? Cmon.. I know many more stressful jobs that don't even have that as a benefit

The problem this time isn't that they lack employees. The problem is that they do not debug the content they produce. Considering that they said they've decided to go patchless from the BigBang mechanic patch to the compilation of UA/LHC patch, this implies that they've finished and producing all the content for Valentines, Golden Temple, and this March update. This means they've had well over a month to double check and prevent this problem, which they didn't bother.
Moreover, Nexon America has only so many employees. The problem here isn't the limited amount of employees, but the way they're distributed. From the way things look, it seems to me that there are more content producers for their employees than actual programmers. Had there been more programmers (and programmers who can debug the game), a lot more things would be fixed such as
A) Memory Leaks (the very FIRST thing programmers learn to correct, which leads me to believe there's next to no programmers in Nexon America's team),
B) glitches such as the Horntail signup glitch, the Body Boost glitch for Battle Mages, and more stuff I'm too lazy to list,
C) exploits and hacks, such as IRM, Rock and Shock, D/C hacking, and more that shouldn't be named), and
D) going back and double checking the products made by the content makers to see if they're functioning correctly.
A small handful of competent programmers can completely turn the way this game operates around into something we'll all see as more appealing. More content doesn't mean much to us when 90% of the other parts of the game don't work right. Yes, Nexon America employees are human, but given the amount of time they've had to correct this issue before it's launched makes me wondering what really goes on behind the monitors.

It's incentives/benefits like these that attract people to Nexon. Benefits are an important factor when somebody is given a choice of places to work at. My mom is in the accounting department in the company she works for and some yearly benefits she has include $500 credit for psychological therapy, $500 for massage therapy, $200 for physical activites/sport apparel, and more.

Were you expecting a jet pack or for them to pay for your car insurance?
They match 401k, health/dental/vision, if you ride the bus THEY PAY FOR YOU TO GO TO WORK.
Hell, they even attempt to ensure their employees don't catch the flu.
To be quite honest, I'm not entirely sure what you were expecting.

None of which is worth a damn if they're only paying 10$ an hour at California's cost of living

They don't, that's the point.
You can go on about how wonderful the benefits are all you want but you don't know what the actual salary is so can't even begin to guess at how horrible the compensation for everything they want really is.
