Usually nothing needs to be done with the BIOS. Everything should be automatic.

I've been grounding myself after every time I leave the room. But I work on a laminant floor, so it shouldn't matter too much.

Don't touch it, just remove the plastic that was covering the bottom of the heat sink and install the heat sink onto the mobo

Can I use electrical tape to bind some of the wires together? Or should I just use zip-ties? Also, there is two PCI power connectors on my GFX card. Do I connect power wires to both of them?

I personally use Zip Ties, and Yes you do.

I like that you are using a $300 processor and a $300 video card, but are using stock coolers on them. Also, do you plan on unlocking that 6950 for your free upgrade to a 6970?
