Because, If what he voted is a Mafian, then it may prove that he has some value. It's all a test if he votes wrong, then I would suggest he is mafian. You can call it a "feeling" I suppose.

To explain a bit more clearly, I have some suspicions about Mephisto due to a pm last night that I wanted to test out. Well two pms technically . . . which made me wonder if I wasn't going to be godkilled when I posted/voted, but anyway, that's why I voted for Meph. I wanted to see what happened when I did so, but as he's the only one I'm really suspicious of today, I think lynching him is fine too. Though I admit I'm not fond of Nalek voting No Lynch as it's a terrible idea, even more so the farther along the game goes.

Indeed, and that's why I give most people a pass on voting No Lynch on Day 1. However, after that, anytime someone votes No Lynch, a red flag pops up in my head. Town is all about lynching, you never want to let a day pass without a lynch if you can help it. Obviously you don't want to get townies, but it's your main way of getting rid of mafians. You can't rely entirely on vigilantes/detectives/doctors carrying you through the game, especially SP mafia games where you die fast if you have abilities like that it seems.

Okay, I let this go on long enough. I was hoping Meph would be mafia and his mafia would help detract us from lynching him and I could get more people to investigate but thats not happening.
