Doesn't 3DS have automatic wifi updates that you can't turn off? I'm sure they'll block flashcarts in the future

Use your DS for that, then.

I don't have a reason to get a 3DS until Ocarina of Time comes out. =/ I have my DS Lite for any DS games + a flash cart. Big Grin

Anyone who isn't buying a 3DS solely for Paper Mario 3D deserves to be punched in the throat. It doesn't matter whether you buy it at launch or three years later as long as the purchase is prompted by Paper Mario. If you own a 3DS and don't own Paper Mario you deserve to be mugged and at the very least beaten half to death in the conflict. If not worse. The mugger will then be required to go buy/steal Paper Mario lest they ironically face the same fate.

And I used to think you were cool....

Paper Mario is a damn classic, I remember when it first came out in the US and it had that hilarious cardboard cutout commercial

Might wait a couple of months.

I want one, but none of the launch games interest me in the slightest.

Lol

I prefer real-time action over anything. I've played the original Paper Mario, but I didn't really like it. Turn-based games are not for me.

I was obsessed with Pokemon when I was little, so that got me into turn-based games like Dragon Quest, Paper Mario, etc.

I won't blame you for not liking Paper Mario, but I'll just assume your childhood was terrible.

Nah, my childhood was full of Pokemon, too, until I got done with Pokemon : Crystal (which came out on my birthday, coincidentally). After that, I didn't ever really touch turn-based games until Black and White came out. Then I tried that and got maybe half-way through and stopped. =/

I'm getting the 3DS at launch anyways. I don't want to get stuck waiting nearly a year, like I did for my Wii. I mean, it sold out in Japan before it was even released. I also question your intentions with an R4, I mean who ACTUALLY gets an R4 for homebrew methods >.>

When did people start considering it ok to pirate things?

Buy a 3DS for the games that are coming out in the future, not because you can pirate games on it.

When it's the reason to buy the system in the first place. It's stupid to say that "Oh hey, this system has good games, but I can't play pirated games on it. Not worth the money."
