Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread
It also means I can't lollygag for a Soul Chaser, or other types of accessory goodies that I'll never see again. Makes me regret selling ~60-70 Earth Demon scrolls these past 2 weeks. :<
I guess this was DFO's saying of saying sorry for all the bad Hell modes on my Hyperion (read: ALL BLUES AND AN EPIC THAT I COULDN'T MAKE USE OF) and the fact I won't get my Soul Chaser due to Hell Mode party.

Apology accepted, DFO.

*PREPARES A MASSIVE FLAME SHIELD AGAINST INCOMING RAGE AND JELLY.*

*P.S. God I love this clapping pony. So many situations that I can use it.
They'll still exist, just harder to get so whatever.
Here's the problem with Strike I was talking about.

 Before entering a new room.
 After entering the room.

 Before entering old room.

Soul Chasers will still exist with Hell Party? THANKS A LOT ALEX NOW NEXON WON'T BE NICE TO ME ANYMORE WITH HELL MODES. IT MUST HAVE BEEN BECAUSE I BELIEVED SO BADLY HELL MODE IS FOREVER RUINED THAT I MUST HAVE SUBCONSIOUSLY MADE THE SHADOW LIGHTSABRE APPEAR AND NOW THAT BELIEF IS SHATTERED. Frown
It'll be 55 Epic so it won't exist for awhile.

I'm looking at this and this doesn't make sense at all.

It's either that your strike just lasts long enough for one room (which is unlikely), or something's overwriting your strike buff (which none of your attacks/buffs do).

THEREFORE.

You are screwed, and have to rebuff strike every room. Thank god I didn't get it.

Though seriously speaking Mark probably has a better idea since he has maxed strike too etc.

Weird. I remembered running around with just Strike on, and I only missed ~1 in every 100 hits. Maybe reinstall DFO or something?
Oh ya. Found this little Trickster last week but forgot to post:

Yes, yes she is.
That's not very nice...
Firstly, Felix why are you consorting with strange witches behind our backs!

Secondly, this burning time event thing was quite fun to play in especially with Aesop buffing me. Michelle stood no chance!

Pretty much concluded that the problem was Strike's buff and Battle Master's aura conflicting with each other since they gave the same bonus, 44 attack each. Did a whole FP bar at Verd with Kyle and Sera and didn't run into the problem. It's all thanks to burning time's bonus stats!
Now I understand how DarkClaws ran through cubes like water.

Lose all track of time and before you know it, all your cubes are gone in a day.

well we were also on the last level of that event so that helped a ton. Normally if it was just me and him it would be around 5 minutes as well.

I just started this game and I'm kind of into it. The whole dungeon limit thing turned me off, none the less, I started as a brawler, and I'm kind of got a plan, I've been using some guild in the DoF forum, fortunately I'm only level 9, but I've at least learned what skills to cap lol.

Any pointers to accelerate my noob status, certain dungeons I should look into, any worth going back and redoing in harder modes, ect. ect. Also is money easily made in this game or is it like maplestory in that regard (2k when everyone wants 100's of mils)

Well..... Brawlers may have some trouble later on. The local guild Fighter extraordinaire is the only one with a 60 Brawler, which can be an indicator about the class, although by the same record there isn't a level 60 Grappler yet, lol. Have you looked into the other Fighter sub-classes, like Nen or Striker?

Tips I can give:
0. Pick up EVERYTHING.
1. Group up as many quests as you can for one dungeon. Also, do all quests except for event quests and quests from Albert that require you to PvP.
2. Learn to Backstep Cancel, and how to cancel your attacks (hotkey or command, whichever is better/faster).
3. Grind up blue gear, sell white gear for gold. Auction House is your friend.
4. Sky Tower is your training ground for the rest of the game. Make mistakes, learn from them there, and try to not get hit too many times. Sky Tower will also teach you to not just bumrush an enemy to death; make reasonable judgments for when to back off an enemy. If you can't eventually solo Sky Tower on Kings Road you either need to get better or this is just not the game for you.
5. When in fear of dying, use an HP potion. When getting buttraped by a mob of enemies, use an HP potion. Otherwise, converse those HP potions, since there's usually an HP fairy in each dungeon. Usually.
6. Sell Demon scrolls to the Auction House for money. From my experience, it's just not worth the trouble of gambling away 150k~450k (lowest level demon scrolls to highest level demon scrolls) for a small chance at a valuable piece of equipment. I know I scored a weapon worth ~18m earlier in the thread, but that was after using probably 4-6m worth of demon scrolls that could have been sold for money; as far as I know it could have also been a crappy blue equipment. If you are naturally lucky, then go for it.
7. If you need MP potions, Dark Tequilas are usually the best bang for your buck. For HP potions, a couple rounds of Drake's Nest with the Elven Drake Champagne quest is not too bad an idea.
8. You will hate Silver Night and 2nd Spine of Behemoth. A LOT. Try to get a party for those places.
9. Lastly, use DFOSource for the guides, just don't go there and be a serious forum member. There's a small group of smart people in a sea of bad ones.
