Capricorn Wrote:Just level, you're ruined anyways. That's a bit mean, Alex. Least tell him why he's ruined. The first problem is Slow Heal. Monks are so SP tight that one misplaced skill can screw them over. Slow Heal is not something Monks should get. Here, use this link: http://oldmanclub.co.cc/asps/act5/monk.html Place the levels of all the skills you have so far, and I'll critique what stays and what goes.

Sure is scary hell mode in the near future. Priest APCs confirmed as manly and insane. Monk/Exo combo, anyone? Also, holy crap it's King from Tekken.

Hell mode isn't too bad.
Except when you get spammed with speed boosted priests and mages, then it sucks. >3>

As far as my Blade Master, here's the build I'm looking at: http://oldmanclub.co.cc/asps/act5/bladem...QDlLFiHlll As you can see, I'm going with a dual mastery of Beam Sword and Zanbato (yes, I realize how expensive the LS will be, but I like speed and after reading about going with dual masteries, they balance fairly well with Zanbatos). Anyways, what should I do with the remaining 626 skill points? Tempered Attack is an option I've thought about, but since I'll be going with two weapons, I don't think it will be needed as if I only used one. I also thought about maxing Upper Slash, Ashe Forke, and/or Charge Crash, but eh. s: Any suggestions are appreciated.

I think -3,500 defense would butcher the enemy's defense by roughly half, which means more damage. Shouldn't be a probably critting every 10 seconds meaning the stack could be kept up, and with Sharp Eye potions it gets even better. Get max Guard and Cancel, reducing 80% physical damage on command sounds very nice. Not sure about Charge Crash Cancel, but it sounds like an option, since more cancels are usually a good thing, especialyl a bum rush move like Charg Crash. Max Upper Slash, for it's very trollsome in dungeons as well as PvP. Not sure about how good Max Ashe Fork is. Seems more for PvP if you're really into that.

The obvious overpowered-ness comes from the fact that they have a spammable non-cube heaven's net, as well as being able to inflict mob posion + bleed that deals up to 1000 per tick, and I was just Lv30 at the time I recorded those numbers. And they're all fixed damage. So they're like witches with net trap.

NoJobNoRules Wrote:I'm looking forward to making one of these as well as a Priest in the future. Well it depends on if you want to be a PvE oriented WM(<_<) or a PvP oriented WM(Why most people make WM's.) If you want to be PvE oriented, maxing Tempered Attack+Upper Stab is fine. So is keeping level 7 Sword Storm and maxed RDS. On the other hand, if you go with a PvP build, that level 7 Sword Storm is going to be a problem. You'll want 5 WWS(Wave Wheel Slasher) as well as its cancel. Level 1 Bloodlust is nice as well, you can get both or choose one. Maxing Upper slash is essential so that you have more launch strength. Level 3 Guard and its cancel are necessities as well. That leaves you with about 201 SP. (With level 7 Sword Storm and level 11 RDS.) Now with that 201 SP you have the option of getting Charge Crash and its cancel, which is heavily debated among WM's. In PvP it's generally only used as an approach, since Triple Slash, WWS, and Guard are usually better defensive options. I don't reccomend getting the cancel since there are very few situations in which it is actually better than Triple Slash in terms of defence. Offensively, the cancel is useless since you're using it as an approach. Also, the extra points in Charge Crash hardly add any damage because it doesn't scale well. I reccomend dumping the remaining points into Ashe Fork since your going with a dual Zanbato build, to get the most out of Zanbato mastery. The shock wave is HUGE when its maxed, but with this build you're not going to be able to max it. If you took RDS down to 5(Minimum prerequisite for Sword Storm.) you'll have extra SP to use on Ashe Fork. I highly reccomend doing this because RDS doesn't scale very well and the points that are pumped into it don't make much of a difference. You still can't max Ashe fork(Level 17) Now, Sword storm...It's pretty much useless in PvP but its nice to have in PvE. You have the option of leaving Ashe Fork at 17 or maxing it while taking 2 levels out of Sword Storm. This is your call; either choice isn't bad. Ashe Fork for PvP and Sword Storm for PvE. Alternatively, you could take points out of Draw Sword to max Ashe Fork while keeping Sword Storm at 7. Draw sword doesn't scale very well, just like RDS and Charge Crash, but its a lot more useful than both in PvE, and the extra points still help in PvP. Once again, your call.

I dunno, it sort of seems like this new Hell system is annoying... unobtainable rares kinda irks me. At least people will be buying scrolls to rush hell mode for to-be-rares? :3
