Rest of the video -> the worse Mechanic gameplay ever seen. It didn't actually hit him while he was invincible. It hit him as he was about to go into it. He doesn't actually become invincible until he's completely in the shell, so if an attack is set off before he gets in there, it will register even as the animation continues for him to become invincible. You see it all the time with everything that can attack.

That was @ 0:04. @ 0:07 the Satellites hit Pap (4216 MISS 3628), but Pap didn't leave his invincible mode until 0:10.

I didn't notice that damage first time I looked at the video. That is incredibly odd. I've never had that happen once during my Paps.

Is it very reliable given that it's a Pserver? I've never had that happen with one of my Paps.

There aren't any private servers that are that high up in the patch numbers. Highest is v0.83, iirc.

78k/33k= 2.36 (236% damage)
That's a retardedly low damage percentage
if both are multiplicative:
160%*1.5*1.34 = 3.216 (321% damage) You'd be dealing over 100k with satelite.
if mastery is multiplicative (like we thought) but safety is additive:
1.6*1.5 + .34 = 2.74 (274% damage)
(1.6+.34)*1.5 = 2.91 (291% damage)
if both are additive:
1.6+.5+.34= 2.44 (244% damage)
And you dealt roughly 236% damage..... the fk T.T

Bots level: 6
Damage: 187325
Only ran like 20 numbers for bots, but it should easily show multiplicative or not.

I'm assuming you still have a 33k range?
187k/33k = 5.67 (567% damage)
lvl 6 bots n tots = 380%
mastery either adds 50% or multiplies by 1.5.
if it adds 50% then lvl 6 bots n tots does 430% (which you did well over)
if it multiplies by 1.5 you get 570%, which is almost perfect. So mastery has to be multiplicative here.
I vote for satellite safety is doing something to screw over the calculations.
I think we'd need a mech with lvl 0 safety and maxed mastery to verify this. Then we'd ask to see if the damage changes weirdly once they get lvl 1 safety.
Edit: I happen to have lvl 0 safety (because I dont want safety on cooldown, but I'm still lvl 130, so I'm no where near adding to mastery.)

Oh uhm, I found out something really weird today:
- Papulatus (full kill 2 bodies) with Siege mode + Tank Bullets = 4min 58secs
- Papulatus (full kill 2 bodies) with Siege mode + Tank Laser = 4min 24secs
Both Papu's did 8 hides during the fight and both Tank Bullets / Laser are at lvl1.
How on earth is this possible? Tank Bullet mode should be stronger then Laser... :o

Yes that's what I am saying. There are no private servers that even have dual blade, much less resistance jobs. Nexon's been hammering any pserver down that gets even close. There is no chance that it's a pserver.
Plus.. the guy who uploaded the video said it might be from kMST, he got it from insonya. Which would explain the levels.

Yeah, range is still the same.
As for safety, the cooldown only applies to safety, not satelites
For example. If I use safety, it starts the cooldown. So if i turn it off and turn it back on, it'll say "You may not use the skill yet"
If I turn it on, and get hit for say 5k, safety will trigger and disappear (and kill my satelites). If I try to use it, it will give me the same message as I still have the cooldown.
However, this does not effect the skill satelite, only the skill safety. I can constantly turn on/off satelite no matter what. So when safety activates, the satelites disappear and absorb the damage. Safety will be turned off.
Note: The cooldown for safety activates when you turn it on, not when you turn it off/it gets triggered
So with safety on and triggered, I can activate my satelites right away (which is annoying so I never have it on because I don't want to waste time recasting satelites if i get hit for high damage).
Note 2: I rechecked damage just now with 31k range and having safety actually on (all other times it was off). Damage was still roughly the same, hit about 4k lower. It says it's a permanent increase so I was pretty sure the skill didn't actually have to be on to work, much like the "guard" abilitiy with the power guard skill in 2nd job.

He hits you with it, safety kicks in, your satellite's go away.
You have to hit the button to resummon your satellites.
And this'll happen roughly every 15ish seconds if zak decides to spam 1/1s.
(Or am I missing something? Can you choose to not have the "safety" part of satellite safety on?)

Safety Satellite is an active skill. You have to use it for it's absorbing damage portion of the skill to work.

Problem is, safety doesn't work with 1/1, which makes the "active" part of it worthless. It still 1/1s you and just kills your satelites.
Even if i was training at a place where safety would always kick in, or say a boss, i still wouldn't use it since i have to keep resummoning my satelites and then reactivate safety once the CD is over.
