I always thought it was: Start with a penny, and say to someone, "a penny for your thoughts?" In which they will give you their two cents, and you will be a cent richer than before, then repeat until rich. Problem, millionaires?

That second line is tricky It doesn't specifically say $20 so maybe people will overlook that line?
