Maybe just make a one way door to a 1x1 room with a pressure plate on top of a TNT. Decoy house around it. Blocks made of obsidian.

Here's one.

Make a small "hut", one-way door. They get in, step on a pressure plate, everything beneath explodes due to TNT, they fall into pit of lava.

What about the massive pitfall trap? Floor made of gravel, step on a pressure plate and the whole floor gives way falling all the way to bedrock. Supported by torches which are wiped out with a water current.

1.-Cover a mountain with TNT.
2.-Punch one block of TNT
3.-???
4.- Proffit.
