I heard in another thread that originally 30% boss damage worked on the LHC mobs but that it was fixed later. So you should just try for stat%.

Oh dear, source please. I have heard nothing of the sort before and sure hope it is bogus.

DoT works on bosses and has been doing so since BB patch. However it is not based on monster HP anymore.
I know they disabled the insta-kill possibility on the mobs, but I have never heard about any other special tweak.

Dont take my word about this, but I recall mobs having a boss-status when it comes to the skills, but not being categorized as bosses.

So I'm still pretty confused about this, but if it helps, my weapon is currently rare but with +12 ATT potential. I'm talking about my Bowmaster, which I heard is great for LHC as a class.

Is there any sort of proof that 30% Boss damage works on LHC mobs at all? Because if the first reply is true, I really would be better off working on my other items first... although that's really because I barely boss much outside of CWKPQ at the moment.

I just realised I was brainfarting, insta-kill does not work on bosses either way. I think there was a point when only a few LHC monsters was labeled as bosses, but now they all are.

No you asked for proof that it works, I say we need proof that it does not. A boss label is up to this point in GMS a 100% guarantee that the potential bonus works. xP

So would getting 30% Boss before LHC gets here (confirmed for March, right?) be worth it either way? All I've been doing is upgrade my gear for it and I'm somewhat clueless as to what to do before it's here. :I

100% normal dmg (NX - less player)

-vs-

100 + (300%) = 400% * 1.3 = 520% dmg (NX wh0res)...

Well, 30% boss is only useful if you fight the bosses that is tougher than Zakum. For me it is awesome, I hunt Castellan and kill the Boss and his bodyguards every day, thats my only EXP income.

I remember reading it on basil now. So I guess you can take it with a grain of salt. Wouldn't surprise me if nexon removed it though.

Because you'd have to be blind as a bat to NOT realize how broken / OP the potential system is.
Also I'm waiting for confirmation on whether or not the 30% boss damage bonus works on LHC mobs or not, so as to not throw a ton of NX on a weapon only to find out it doesn't work.
