How big is the file and how long did it take to d/l?

I downloaded the one from IGN.com. I think it's about 550 MB, which took me around 30 minutes (without the waiting time).

The games pretty fun, but the skill descriptions are a bit confusing.

This game is awesome. But I can't play all that much both because of the time I have and the terrible lag I experience. Sad But I know what I'm going to do when the official release is... released. >Big Grin

This game beats out Maplestory in a lot of good ways.

Quests actually give GOOD EXP, money, pots, and are repeatable up to 3 times.
Skill resets and safety charms can be bought from NPCs.
KSing won't benefit you much.

I'm a level 31 Crossbow Traveler and barely grinded at all.

IMO, partying is much better than in MS, although the radius is a bit small for my tastes. The graphics are better, and the areas seem more creative (Digging to find a huge monster that eats you and having to fight germs / cells anyone?). Most of the outfits aren't that bad either, although I'd have preferred it to be different based on class. Dying is a bit counterintuitive though, especially coming from MS to LaTale, huge monsters don't kill you, mobs of smaller ones probably will (CURSE YOU MONSTERS THAT CAN HEAL THEMSELVES AND OTHERS).

The Fashion Shop (CS equivalent) seems to be better. I like the idea of permanent clothes much more than the monthly crap of MS. A lot of items (Store Permit, Some clothes) are sold in game as well.

My only complaint really is that the lag is god awful at times and the pot system is a bit queer. I can live with cool down on pots, but a gradual heal isn't fun.

Lol, don't even get me started on wandering into a new map and getting mauled by a huge swarm of monsters.

No invincibilty frames make it really hard to escape when you're in deep sh'it. Only way you can escape is opening up inventory and using a warp capsule back to town, but with my crappy HP, it's hard to pull it off in time. It's a good thing you only lose 3% when you die.

I guess no invincibility frames makes more sense than what MS does, although it does make for an annoying gameplay element. Being a warrior, usually I'll be able to run away to a nearby rope and wait for pots to heal if I notice I'm getting raped too badly. Reminds me of a funny story. I was about 30~33 in OB, and I was exploring the mountain area. I missed a jump, and landed on a small platform with 6 FUCKING BLACK BEARS. Lolinstadeath. You lose 2% of your money too, but its rarely noticed since I keep it all in the bank anyways.

Some quests piss me off though, like the GobleGoble and BogleBogle / Cart Beetle ones. "Hay gaiz, lets have them try to kill a monster that spawns once every thirty minutes on each of the maps, but make them have to kill the monster 3 times. Then we can make them do THE SAME THING three more times!"

I didn't mind doing the BogleBogle three times as it was 30k EXP each time at like level 15. Which is hot. All you had to do was go to a secluded area and change channels, and comb the area, then repeat as necessary. Running into King Goblin was a peach though. ;[

Game needs more servers/channels though. Trying to play it at peak times is impossible.

Yeah, they've been pretty good with updating the channels, I think it started at what? 5? 4? I think that'll be fixed with time, I doubt they expected such a huge amount of people to be playing in the first week.
