Scania- I Remember

- Ch 1 Ellinia & Perion were the best hang out spots.
- LPQ was the most crowded place ever.
- Everyone would OPQ 24/7 when it first came out.
- KS wars at Zombies, guild vs. guild.
- GPQ was always crowded, and you literally had to wait hours for a channel.[/COLOR]

I remember (in no particular order)...

- 3 hour Zak runs!
- Ch 1 Perion, Ch 1 Sauna, Ch 1 Kerning, Ch 1 Henesys all the way to the left.
- The days before those blasted Maple TVs.
- Exploring places with my sister when we were 2x-3x mages [omfg, WHY IS THAT BOAR ON FIRE?? RUNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!]
- KSing / getting KSed all over the place! Horny mush, fire drakes, MM, Zombies
- Being in awe of CLASSIC high leveled characters such as RainbowPIG, Stephen, DerangedCow... Yeah. Tiger came way after them.
- When FM was a place to find a good deal.
- The automated storyteller in FM Entrance.
- When GMs would come out of the blue and help make Maple a better game to play. [Wishing Happy BDays, reviving dead Zakumers - before 4th job came out]
- KahluaNMilk <3
- PatisserieMK <3
- When leveling was a big deal, and everyone came to watch you level.
- OH YAH - SPENDING LIKE 10 LEVELS ON MY MAGE AT WW TO FIND A FUCKING EVIL WINGS. (got 2, kept 1, sold the other and made 35mil profit. Next month they let some easy ass monster drop it. Quit mage and made a sin shortly after).

I remember when...

People would go down orbis/el nath tower with their nub char and have to remake cause they couldn't get out, and no one else was high enough level to help them get out.

Training at pangs at 8x was fairly decent experience. (before ludi or third jobs)

Training at grims was godly exp.

Being low dex was crazy, dexless nigh on insane (for warriors)

Having map disputes in the oddest places (lol Cargos)

Nexon didn't have all sorts of things that autoban or permaban innocent people.


People thought that sitting down and being able to drop things at the same time was a hack.

People would hunt long boring hours for a 5x and 6x weapons.

There were no official in game guilds, so KoM was just forums/buddylist/meeting based.

-AlterWolfie, who most of all remembers when he still had his character and was very active.

I remember laughing at my friend when EOS tower first came out, because he walked all the way down XD.

I remember going over to my old best friend's brandyn's house to play his 105 chief bandit that was SO pro because of his level.

He bought it off eBay for 100 bucks and I was like "man this is awesome"

Then he quit and sadly we kind of parted, I still see him time to time but yeah..

we knew eachother in real life and still do..

I remember Tiger's 'return' from being banned.
I logged on, and Channel 10 (11?) had more people than Channel 1.

I remember buying my zak helm for 250m.

I remember the old FM.

I remember when Shinkitas ONLY dropped from taurospears, and I spent weeks on my old Bandit in channel 1, El Nath just to find a seller. Bought an average one for 3mil, and I thought I was so pro holding that thing around.

Unfortunately, I only remember the negative things about both Scania and MS in general. Here's a few:

-Ridiculous drama to the point of people insulting another person's dad. (I believe CoReaNz and TRainT insulted Tiger by mocking his father's suicide, and may have also said that his mother should die too.)
-All the lazy hacking BW WK idiots.
-Certain merchanting guilds using hacks to enhance their profits. (SoFly sticks out to me like a sore thumb.)

Mass-KS wars at FoG! I remembered getting at least 10+ people from my Buddy List, and a couple people from guild to help me KS back against a Sniper. Of course, this was pre-4th job.

I remember going to that map past Three-Way Road Split (or whatever that map is called) and getting to some secret map with a bunch of platforms, and on the floor there were thornbushes and pigs.

No one remembers that map, I swear.

I also remember when I trained in L-Forest.

I remember when GM events were active.
I remember when 2x EXP events were given instead of cheap 2x NX cards.
I remember how Ludi PQ was the most crowded pomegranate and how Lubb is still known.
I remember when baseball caps were the pro.
I remember when 99 damage was like orgasm.
I remember bandits use to impress me and I'd force them to use Savage blow again.
I remember when people flashed their skills in Henesys when 3rd job came out.
I remember having a Zakum helmet was a sign you were part of a respected community or a hacker.
I remember having a Zakum helemt meant you were god.
I remember having a level 50 weapon was pro.
I remember when a 55 scarab was like a OMFGWTFYOUDUPEHAX weapon.
I remember when Aqua road came out.
I remember how everyone went to Aqua road to get their chair.
I remember when Ludi came out.
I remember 25 mil 10 attack work gloves.
I remember when tobis were over 1.5m
I rememeber when icys were good enough.
I remember when icys were 750k.
I remember when 100k meant the world.
I remember when pros would acutally stop by and help newbies.
I remember perion ch.1 was the FM today.
I remember the old FM and their bamboo doors.
I remember how I'd hold up in the tree hole in the old FM to go through all the FMs quickly.
I remember when Henesys and Perion had different style FMs.
I remember when shop permits first came out.
I remember when you weren't required for 100 ea. omok piece to make an omok game table thing.
I remember spammin was the only way of selling anything.
I remember bamboo hats used till level 50 or more.
I remember China sets being super sexy.
I remember Tiger at level 151 or so when rankings first came out.
I remember when Henesys townstreet was an enjoyable place to talk.
I remember when Syngery was nice (lol).
I remember when litterally all of Scania hated Veng.
I remember the Z4 KS wars.
I remember the Yeti and Pepe KS war (RoyalBlue vs Veng).
I remember GodBandit dying at pianus when Aqua first came out.
I remember how people use to just attack Zakum's arms for EXP and not kill it.

When being an Archer meant something.

I'm glad it became a bandwagon. I can't stand people that pick the worst/least used class just to get attention.

My fondest memories in Scania are of Mushmom, back when people weren't whiny platypi that complained about the bosses they felt belonged to them getting killed, but instead understood it was a competition, and the quickest, most powerful would be victorious.

I remember how Ludi PQ was the most crowded pumpernickel and how Lubb is still known.

I remember how everyone went to Aqua road to get their chair.

I remember the Yeti and Pepe KS war (RoyalBlue vs Veng).
