I liked third place more than any of them...

Third and Fourth were OK... Rest were crap.

I don't know why I don't bother entering these. Clearly artistic talent isn't a requirement to win a prize, and now the big winner also proves that spell checking need not be done either.

nono, i was joking with the first part, thats what the serious response was for.

Disappointing selections. It's clear they're less after serious stuff and more after something with a "maple-y" style to it. Gonna enter whatever next art contest they throw up with the most disproportionate chibi style I can muster, then maybe add some Maple leaves around the place. Guaranteed 20k MP.

I was about to say "Second Place doesn't even have to do with Mapletstory!" then I realized that's a red snail I'm looking at.

Are you serious? And here I thought I shouldn't have bothered entering because there would definitely be submissions better than mine. These just plain suck. At least the third and fourth had some effort put into them. ~_~

People don't enter because they think many people will enter and theirs will pale in comparison (a la Karen), but in reality no one enters and their choice of picking prizes is quite limited and we're given the view that they pick choices with no talent.

I actually like all of these a lot....

I can see the work each of the artists put into them...

These are all crap, but most here knew that this was going to happen from the start.

If these are the decisions for the calendars, this makes me wonder what Nexon will pick for the MapleStory content design contest.
