Eww, Portal 2 is a full $60 game. I preferred it when it was free on Steam. I really liked Portal and Portal 2 seems like it improves on this first in every way, but I don't know if I'll be getting it when it comes out.

Portal 2 is going to be a must buy for me this year- once it gets a price drop that is. I don't think it will be worth the full game price tag. Then again, I don't think its wroth buying any game for the full RRP if I can help it.
./awaits steam sale

Also I'm still sore they changed wheatlys voice from the original trailer in whatever game show (E3?) he was first shown in.

ValvE nailed it with the good-looking but not with Size AAA boobs.

More Portal 2 Information here.

Dude you idiot, it's actually a FULL GAME this time. If the old Portal was worth $30 this Portal would be worth $120. Why? SINGLE PLAYER IS 2X LONGER AND THE NEW CO-OP IS 2X LONGER! THAT'S A FRIGGING TEN HOURS OF STORYLINE RIGHT THERE! PLUS VALVE ARE GENIUSES AT STORYLINE! I BETTER SEE SOME HALF-LIFE REFERENCES AND AT LEAST 2 PLOT TWISTS!

I'll be trading what's left of my in game value of MS for this game when the pre-order is out via steam. Partly cause steam gifting is instant, partly because this will be a must buy, and partly because I've given up that hackers will ultimately run that economy (that and another event could come up that triples the max amount I ever had again). Honestly, I'd rather wait, but I doubt my 17 day rings I have laying around will be worth as much down the road.

Still, physics, yay!

It cost money and was given away free as an temporary event -_-

On Topic:

I'm so excited I'm doing a midnight release LP of it (not trying to promote myself, I'm just saying), Just hoping valve doesn't try and take it down (probably will though but hopefully not).

Also I already posted this video (sort of)

bonus for pre-ordering from gamestop: free bot skins - pretty useless for anyone that knows you can download and install any custom skin you like.

No thanks, I'll pre-order from steam and get my 10 obligatory free TF2 hats

Wtp I just checked right now and Portal 2 is not $60 it's $50.

Preorder it for $45 and get the original Portal for free. Feel free to give it to a friend be because it's Steam, after all.

Hmm, Valve shows its preference for its PC gamers once again. Definitely a more reasonable price in my opinion.

I'm sure ValvE would cut the price down on the PS3/Xbox too if they, you know, own them.

Then you're the odd one out of the group, because even people playing on the PS3 can play with people on the PC.

I'm downloading Portal right now because someone gave it to me. Smile

Also, in case nobody knows about this, you get Portal 2 on the PC for free if you buy the PS3 version. There will also be cross platform support for PC/PS3.

If Portal 2 ever haves DLCs and Microsoft charges for them, I'm going to laugh so hard.
