Scania- I Remember

This is a thread dedicated to all the old memories of how Scania use to be. Just state some things you remember (doesn't matter if you havent played as long as everyone else)


- I remember when Scania gathered together in Nath to Spam and try to get 3rd job to be released as soon as possible.

- I remember when no one knew wtp Iron Arrow was.

- I remember when having a Zhelm made you a god

when perion channel one was so crowded that dcing was a grand possibility.

the sauna was the place to hang out.

when GM's would run around right before server checks and patches telling people to log off so they wouldnt accidentally lose drops and things they just got. (saw lambcook this way lol)

when going to dark stone golems for the first time was cool, and when you got there the person in the map was like, woohoo lets make a party rather than cc plz

when it was polite to type out "could you please change channel?" and most would do it

when we knew ludi was coming so we all piled in the station right at patch time

fighting werewolves for weeks on end looking for those blasted evil wings

when red drakes were the training spot everyone wanted

when stephen was deleted

when he restarted on a sin

when derangedcow hogged all the mushmom spawns lol (does anyone know whatever happened to him? O_o)

ah those days.....

I remember when colored eyes were a default from the beginning.

Also, if I can just add on from an old time thing (I wasn't in scania at this time), I remember the days of yore when curse eyes roamed the swamps.

Sorry, I don't have much to add on, I started scania in only April of '06.


Edit: Oh, yeah, spamming in Kerning City sewer, training 51+ with no PQs. (Also, anything I remember, I will add on in this post, no reason wasting posts)

I remember a screenshot of Tiger dead and how people were astounded by it. Also, all the intrigue that went with Zakum's release.

The two week double exp right when you left Beta.
How I called people with cash shop items "hacker" XDXD.
My mark of the beta hat, I still have it.

I remembered:

-When I died at 4X on my Spearman (now a lv 101 PADK) at Death Teddies! F4!
-When Grims and Gobies were considered as "godly" EXP!
-When Pig Beach was always crowded! xD
-When I first started MS, everything was fun (now it just gets tedious!)
-When there was no 4th job
-When Tiger, Suuushi, Hydrange, VietxHue, and Zoecherry were the Overall Top 5 characters in the rankings, all 5 of these characters were from Scania too!
-When Hermits USED to be the KS'ing-God class. >_>;

I remember...

-Perion Ch1.
-Selling Ores for 1K each in Perion Ch1.
-When getting to level 30 was an achievement.
-Everyone had a Beta hat except for me, and everyone who did play beta was complaining because their characters were deleted. And that's all you'd hear from anyone.

I remember the huge KS wars at grims.

I remember getting into my first guild the day after guilds were released.

I remember the very very first monster raid when my cleric was lvl 38, and I used a red bandana + red starlight cause it looked hot XD.

I remember landing a 10% overall defense on my red starlight, on the first slot, and spamming CH 1 kerning S> GODLIEST STARLIGHT IN MS!!.

I remember the very first time I saw stephen. He was walking around ellinia with a bunch of people following him, and he was lvl 96.

I remember the first time I saw a z helm was when Tiger JUST got his, and I saw him with it at grims.

I remember when SilencerX and Suuushi and Tiger were the best. I joined Scania because of them and stayed here.

I remember when playing in Scania.. actually felt like I was playing in Scania.

Not in some merchant infested, damage hungry, equipped frenzied community.

- Trying to get to a certain level to join a guild.
- Getting a Zakum helm on my mage when it was still expensive.
- Having fun leveling.
- Training at zombies with a buddy.
- Staying at horny mushies 'cause I was scared to go somewhere else.
- "KS wars" at zombies.[/COLOR]

• When I thought 1 mil was the most awesome thing in the game.
  
• When I did nothing but fill my inventory with Slime Bubbles and thought that was the pumpernickel. [I would post screenshots of my filled inventory anywhere I could.]
  
• When I paid 50k for one Garnet ore, not realizing there was a difference between refined and non-refined.
  
• When I was intrigued by the fact Ludibrium sells pills.
  
• When Zakum helms ran around 200m, and if you had one you were considered godly.
  
• When Forest of Gollems first came out and finding a Tobi at Gollems was fantastic.
  

I remember the 3 and a half hour zakum run to get my priests zakum helmet. Zakum was only a month old lol

I remember when I thought I was rich after selling a pan lid for 70k. And when my friend had 100k. Now he has 1m and I'm about 200 times richer.

When being an Archer meant something.

I remember the days when people would actually help noobs without them asking for it. (it was Sep 2005), a kind higher lv warrior gave me a lot of mana elixiers =]

I remember how happy i was when I got my first character to lv 30, I dressed up as a noob and asked people to train me. XD

I remember... when ant tunnel was nearly always crowded, and it was a nuisance trying to go through there.

I remember when I thought my friend's lv 76 sniper was really high levelled XD

I remember seeing my first DarkRitual on some high lved mage, and I was amazed because it looks cute >v<

I remember the days when me and my friends started playing MS, we would come to the uni labs on a saturday and play together. Good old days ^__^

I remember buying a Brown Kitty when pets have only just been released in the CS, when they don't even have looting equips yet. =]

I remember when kages used to drop at grims.

I remember when firemages used to be the 'pumpernickel'. lol

I remember when ppl used to sleep in their grim maps to hold it.

I remember the ks war between GodBandit and Tiger at YNPs.

I remember when we couldnt beat zak without ScubaSteve.

-When GPQ came out and we had to wait for 47 guild ahead of us to go (We missed our turn :<)
-When Wyvern/Attractive was still around <---old guilds.
