What is this CS item?

I've enhanced a few items, and I've never had more than +1 to a stat from an enhancement. On armor, it's pretty frequently only adding to defense.

In the enhances I've used they typically put 2 for me at least. I was conducting an average on my personal experience. My sky skis went:

2+
2+
3+
2+
3+

DustBunny Wrote:Okay let's entertain your perspective. Instead of 300%, we'll make it 100% which isn't that extrodinary. I did 750 cus I don't see the actual number he calculated but that's 250+ stats. Most players don't have 250+ stats on their entire set of gear, excluding potential, which was my point.

Essentially every piece of equipment gets double it's base stats, excluding a few exemptions of course.

Hat
Earring
Pendant
Belt
Shoe
Cape
Glove
Top
Bottom

Lets just use these pieces of equipment, as it's the average number of gears people will have to potential. Remember the number of gears is actually greater than this, especially for some classes.

Total number: 9

I haven't done a lot of mass cubing, but I'd say to get an item from rare to unique, and say get 12%+ stat on it, would on average take 70-100 cubes. Let's just say it's 50 cubes for 12%.

That means you need 450 cubes, or rather 540k NX to get 12% on 9 pieces of equipment, which is 108% total. I'm pretty most people have never even seen the max meso mark, and that amount of NX is in the 7-8bil range.

tl;dr: Most people with cubes don't break the 100% mark, and the people who do represent a very small portion of the maple population. Most people usually try to get 3% from a drop, or buy it in fm. I'd say for the average person, the amount of % gear they have is prolly only in the 20% range.

Now then, people said cubes would game break everything and EVERYONE would be super strong and etc. I don't think everyone is that godly. Let's move onto the next item, the pam song.

Right when people heard about it, people instantly assumed everyone would have a +9 weapon (mostly talking about classes with 2h weapons). For every person that has a +9 weapon, I can probably go find at least 5 other people that are a considerable high level that aren't even close to a +9. Did it make everyone extremely strong again? No, it just helped a very small population of maple become even stronger, just like cubes.

I wonder what's going to happen with these scrolls? My money's on <5% of maple will get extremely strong. And they were already strong enough. Until you see the random noobs like hene hoes or such becoming game-breaking, i don't think we need to worry.

It just sucks that the gap between the godly players and the average player is becoming too great. When a person can solo cHT I think that's gone too far.

Lol turning an item into 8 stars would require on average 27 enhancements, which means 135k NX. xD
Only usefull on weapons IMO. Maybe like 4 stars on other equips.

You can play the game perfectly fine without 8 stars on every equip.

I think that is the worryng part and not the random hene hoes, etc.
This is just another item to further the gap between those who can spend nx (by any means obtained) and those who don't/can't.

The ones you mentioned who do cube to 108% or higher are mostly the ones who did add a new +9 weapon to their arsenal are also gonna be the ones who get 8 stars on said weapon. Obviously not in all cases but spenders are spenders. Will it be game-breaking? No, but it's another straw added to the camels back imo.

I do agree the gap will be greater, but really does it matter that much? Seems people are just jealous of other people, but they're just spending money to get something. The way i see it, even if there was no NX system, people would spend money to buy items from people in-game anyway, and the gap would still be there. The cash shop just gives more opportunities.

Enhancing gear other than a weapon is pretty useless. (well, gloves seem to be an ok idea too). Enhancements can raise any number of stats (that you dont want!) on an item.

Say i'm a warrior and enhance a cape, and after i manage to get 8 stars on that cape the stats it actually added were: 3 STR, 1 DEX, 2 INT, 5 LUK, 20 HP, 30 MP, 2 avoid, 1 accuracy. Worth it? Not really.

If we do get this, I would try to make some NX and get 8 starred weapon. As for other gear, I'd try to get them all to like 3-5 stars each since that's reasonable.

It's more the size of the gap caused by potential... with pre-potential gear, the most you could do is maybe 2x the damage range if you were the best of the best compared to a less well funded player. Now it's at least 4-5x the damage output.

Within my guild, my Paladin has the 2nd highest %str bonus (maybe 3rd by now). That's 44% str, in a guild mostly composed of level 150+ players. It's just not that common to have +100% str, or higher.

I only meant enhancements on non-weapons. All my weapon enhancements have added +3 atk or broken. (they also added mp, acc, str, and luk - about 30 mp, 3 acc, 3 str, 1 luk - that's 4 separate enhancements)

If you enhance class gear at least you only get primary and secondary stats along with the HP, MP etc. Capes and such are, as you say, more of a gamble.

Well people have to solo PB first. Once that happens, then I'll consider it going too far. Soloing CHT is just absurd in every right.

That's rather redundant isn't it? Being jealous of virtual pixels and virtual numbers? Only the egotistical people would care that much about it.

Do these things get used up like white scrolls or Pam's Songs?

For enhancment scroll, the chance of gettting watt/matt bonus on equips other than weapons is really really low.
