Guys are you sick of MapleStory freezing and rebooting your Computer?

I just found how i can close MS without rebooting. (Im using WINDOWS XP)

I guess many of you know this trick already but for all the other who doesnt know it,
ill explain it.

When your Screen freezes like in FM Press:

ALT+TAB ( u dont see anything else cuz your screen is still freezed) then PRESS
CTRL+SHIFT+ESC ( now your taskmanager will open with the process view, you still cannot see it)
Type the letters MA for maplestory and press the DEL-button and then PRESS the Y-Button

welcome Desktop and MS is closed

my ms only crashed if im being dc hacked. win7 Ftw

I do something similar, except that I start with CTRL+ALT+DEL instead of ALT+TAB, CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.

Even this won't work if I forget to get out of chan 1 before going in FM entrance. Reset button is all I can do for that.

At above, DC hack usually exits out of the program with error message for me, it does not cause the hang problem.
Since some version update a few months back, whenever the program used to D/C and revert to the log-in screen, it now hangs (except for D/C hack).

I found that when my MS freezes, if I hold the power button for a second so it goes into sleep mode. I turn it back on, click my user account icon, and it takes maybe 10-15 seconds for Maplestory to come back on the screen and more times than not it isn't lagging anymore.

Apparently my maple hasn't been able to kick me to the server select when I d/c, instead my computer makes up a weird noise and ms freezes. Since BB part 1, I've now been playing in window mode, cause it's so much easier to deal with this issue that way.

Window mode for me has frame delay. The frames can't keep up with the correct action. So it'll look like nothing happened and then I'll get a speed up version a few seconds later.
