I called the end of the 2nd hour way back in the middle of season 1 They also seem to be using even more X-men inspirations, which kind of scares me a bit for the rest of the season because there is a point where it jumps the shark to become just ridiculous...
Also, I found the Mohinder character really out of touch with his own character for the start of this story and there wasn't really a reason for it.
Spoiler
Of course, I'm referring to even before he injected himself... he wasn't behaving like the character we've come to know over the past 2 seasons
Hiro is an idiot... His character is developing way too slowly and his portions are the most repetitive of the bunch. It sucks because he's a likable character and we already know he winds up badass.

Not a big fan of the whole "give people powers" thing though. In a show that can revive anyone they want with Claire/Adam's/possibly Peter's/possibly Sylar's blood, removing the "regular joe" type characters by giving them powers isn't necessarily a good idea. It makes it much harder to identify with someone on the show. Lol at Ando Hadooken'ing Hiro, though
Also, why the heck was HRG on level 5? If Sylar only qualified for level 2, HRG wouldn't even rate a 1...
Finally, lol at the nod to the fan predictions with the "Are you going to eat my brain?"..."No, that would be gross!"
I feel sorry for peter (not future peter) cause he gets stuck in that one guy's body... What i wonder is if he can utilize his original power or is he limited to that one dude's power?
Hiro is kinda lame story wise tho... all he does is "save the world cause it's my destiny"
They finnally brought back claire's real mom and I predicted Angela having the power to see future in her dreams, and Sylar being her & Mr. Nakamura's love child
So how was the second night of Heroes for you all?
-hopes for a bigger community-
Spoiler
They killed off magneto and sound wave man
What the hell? I thought they were some big bad peoples. you'd think that all that hype in the pre season trailers they'd be a stronger group of villains...
But it appears to be another stop Sylars murderous rampage... But next week's previews look to another of the same things... Back to the future again to stop whatever the Company did wrong...
The Hiro arc is more of the same and it's getting annoying.
Nothing new on the Mohinder or Nathan fronts...
The Peter arc went pretty much as expected so far. I'm interested to know whether he'll have all those fancy new powers from the lvl5 guys now... I might be completely wrong but I seem to remember in a previous season's future, Sylar had blue flame and Peter had red when they fought, so I'm assuming that means he didn't leach the blue, if that future still exists...
HRG's arc looks like it will be the highlight of the season so far. The other possible contender for that would be everything to do with Nikki, although I wonder how they'll work Micah in now unless they just phase him out.
Claire's arc was emo and weird... Unless her mom has more than just pyro as a power, it made no sense. The mom had no trouble breathing whatsoever even though there was no air left in that thing.
I think the hype for the lvl5 guys was to make Sylar seem even more menacing now that he's gained a few... That holds true even more now that he's got the backing of what I'm assuming is the big bad for this season - Angela.
I was also slightly disappointed that they went the Darth Nihilus route for Sylar... He was much cooler when he was just a sociopath.

If I'm thinking of the scene you are talking about, Peter had fire and Sylar was using ice, not blue fire.
I think the better question is how did he manage to control his hunger and why wouldn't he also instruct Peter on that as well...
Also kind of weird how Peter didn't just magically absorb it from being close. He had to think about it, which he never had to do for other ones like flying...
Oh, and did anyone catch the old dude say Tracy, Nikki, Barbara? I was under the impression from the first 2 seasons that Nikki & Jessica were twins, Jessica died and became a second personality in Nikki? How does this guy not know about Jessica?

Nah, where would that leave Gina? The guy doesn't know about Jessica because she's simply part of Niki's multiple personalities along with Gina.
About Sylar's power i figured since it's so complicated (he needs to understand powers to absorb them), Peter had to understand the "system" to the power i order to learn it. And didn't he tell Peter that he learned to control it out of love for his son? Anyway, i think even if he went into more detail as to how to control it, Peter wouldn't be able to anyway, cause he has always been an idiot with new powers lol.
Adam is dead. He turned to dust 0-o
So the petrelli family is a family of power stealers. how convenient. How'd Ms. Petrelli get owned?
I wonder how Peter is gonna get out of this one. He's just a plain human now...
They need to do something better than power stealing and future sight. the past seasons have all been future sight then solve. But what else could they really do?
Still this arc is developing nicely. Can't wait to see more.
