From today untill February the 13th, you can get your shiny Raikou from the trio.

Suicune and Entei should be comming up in the next two weeks.

Team Previews add a lot of depth to the game.

Stealth rock is dieing, but not dead. On a related note, I haven't really seen that much stall.

Weather is dominating the metagame; permanent rain has just been banned.

It was fun trolling with Inconsistent before that got banned.

Basically you see all 6 Pokemon (sprites only) before the battle, PLUS you can rearrange your lead.

This basically sums it up. Believe me, one-turn Solarbeam is a far less threatening prospect than never missing with Thunder.
Also means Kyogre is banned in general. Cool beans, that stupid whale was a pain in the ass to kill.

Yea, it was unknown if you could get them from wifi in America/Canada, but you can. :3

I went to the Canadian mall tour today. There wasn't much, just the demo and some face painting/coloring for kids. After you play the demo you get a free Pokeball plush thing.

The game itself is pretty good. I can't say much because the demo was only like..2 battles and you can barely walk around anywhere. I only took two pictures with my phone from the top floor when I was done:

Also, I got Ash's Pikachu. I wasn't expecting it to be in Canada. I just passed by Toys R Us and saw the sign. They really are doing a lot of stuff in Canada this time as opposed to before.

One of the elite four is black! yuuuush. And I think there are a couple black trainers too, that I can look like in the union room. ^-^ So now they need to focus on making trainers for every other skin color. =P

So, that means the battle frontier (if there is one in "gray") might not have a battle castle. We can look forward to new ones! I hope they bring back the battle dome and pyramid. :o

I personally think that all of ash's Pokemon being given out are a waste of time. I can literally make my own with the same stats and moves. Maybe if they have exclusive moves it'll be good. And if they weren't useless it would be nice too. I don't think anyone wants to use a pikachu. (some people like using raichu, but I'd use something else.
