Freezing - 5 - Hmmmm this is really going to be interesting. Will he go after Satellizer? Or Rana? Also, Rana is beast as hell, OPed even, taking down 3 seconds years without a weapon.
Also, Im seeing the whole "ripping the clothes off of them to expose their breasts" as a way of humiliation. Why? No clue, probably to assert dominance or to distract them.
Hiyokoi - OVA - DO PINEAPPLING WANT SERIES!!!! Seriously, I want this as a series and not an ova movie
Bakuman 18: "We're going to change Jack. More ecchi!" The first 3/4 of this episode were amazing and everything i wanted Bakuman to be. The trio's shonen spirit even rubs off on Nakai, and he becomes motivated to become a mangaka again. The whole theme of what inspired each of them to become mangaka when they were kids, with both Mashiro and Shujin getting the idea to write a mystery manga really got me excited. Then... the girlfriend drama happened and ruined everything. Ugh.
Star Driver 18: Any girl on the island who can sing is automatically a maiden. Also, lol at the joke warning captions in the subs.
Mahou Shoujo Magical Madoka [ 4-5 ]
Not sure what to think here at this point, I've read up on some posts here and there from some members that have been watching this, and I agree with most of it. There's some things that I still do not get:
Spoiler
a) What's Kyubey's objective(s)? Kyubey was well aware of everything that was happening in episode 5, and not only that, but is really eager to try to get Madoka to become a Magical Girl. What makes Madoka so special again? I haven't seen anything amazing. Yet.
b) Homura is possibly the most interesting girl at this point, and Mami might be the 2nd most interesting girl on my list, personally. I didn't get how Mami died, there's just so much that was left out for me that I can't say "she died". There seems to be a lot of hints on episode 5 that really seems to back up Spidey's statement on how she could have arrived from the future. I noticed in episode 5, she stated that "a lot died", when referring to how many Magical Girls she has seen that died. Also, about how "you can't bring back the dead", or something of the sort. It seems to be extremely ominous, or hinting something. I wouldn't be surprised at this point if time is a huge factor when involving her powers. Not much is yet known about Homura, and I still haven't seen her attacking much in order for me to figure out the rest of her powers.

She died, bro. Her head was chomped clean off. Her torso had no head when it fell, there was a trail of blood (censored as pretty sparkles) as she was falling. The remainder of her body was eaten up when it hit the floor. Madoka and Sayaka saw it happen, pretty sure they wouldn't be as shocked if Mami wasn't completely devoured in front of their eyes. The actual death was off screen because it's still meant to be okay for children to watch.
If Mami is ever brought back, she'll still have the memories of having her head separated from her body in her mind. When you die like that, you don't die instantly, it takes a few seconds before the brain shuts down. In other words, she'll have the memories of feeling her head chomped clean off her body. She was also too surprised to even close her eyes while it happened. Her body wasn't "dead" until her uniform vanished.

She dead, man.

I actually didn't notice the head falling off before, thanks for the image. However, I still feel that it's strange to cut off her role in the anime so soon, I wonder if she'll be resurrected somehow.. Hmm. Only time will tell, I guess.

Level E - 5 - Prince Baka and the Color Rangers, HO!!!!!!! Im kinda wondering why we even went through ~4 episodes with the baseball guy and the girl...
.Hack//Quantum - OVA 1 - Sooooo good. Brings back sooooo many memories of why I loved watching the first .Hack anime.
.hack//QUANTUM OVA Ep 1 - Yay. The .hack series is returning, and this looks pretty interesting. Sadly, it's only a 3-episode OVA.
Spoiler
Seems like Mary will become an Unreturner (like those PKed by Tri-Edge in Roots/G.U. - That weird humanoid figure was most likely an AIDA), and Sakuya will be trapped in the game (like Tsukasa in SIGN). Everyone else will probably be fine though...
By the way, isn't IYOTEN one of those bastards who PKed Haseo at the beginning of .hack//Roots?

Dragon Crisis ep. 5 - I'm really liking this anime's soundtrack, and that fight wasn't half bad either! My only complaint is that there doesn't seem to be much of an overall story just yet.
Level E 5: Color rangers were awesome. Can't wait to see them fight Kraft next episode.
Senkou no Night Raid Specials 1-3: I really enjoyed these specials much more than the actual TV series. They really had a stronger focus on the characters and did not have any of the irritating crap that was in the TV series. The second special was definitely my favorite of the entire series, and I liked the new ending better as well.
Kimi ni Todoke 2nd Season 5: And so the love triangle is formed. I expect some actual development to occur next episode though, hopefully.

Rio - 6 - Wayyyyyyy less fanservice this episode, which is really odd compared to all of the other episodes. This series really is just for the lawls, I mean, space pinball? A kid using psychic powers who happens to be a gate holder? Pure lawls.
Shidoshi Wrote:I have to say the humor cools down a lot after the first and second episodes. It maintains its randomness but it can't make me laugh anymore.
Going to have to agree. At episode 3 was when the ecchi-fest began. I still like where the anime is going, but I dislike too much fanservice. Little here and there is alright, but episode 3 was like "Eh..." for me. Wait, no, I got up to 4. Episode 4 was f`ucking hilarious at the end, but that was about it. I still have yet to see 5, so.. I'll be doing that either tonight or the next day.
It's alright, I'd probably rate this as 6.5 out of a 1-10 scale, 10 being perfection.
