It's annoying. I'm sure the database was seeing enough activity to forgo using such an annoying feature to allure users.

It's a new thing. It will take some time before people migrate from hidden-street or basilmarket's databases.

Those are also simpler with less categorizing options which make them easier on your average user.
It also lacks the colorful and playful aspect those two others have, remember we are still playing a game.
