Calculation of min hp for DK to spam sacrifice comfortably on pink bean/ cygnus.

1. So pink bean does like 23k touch dmg.
2. Sacrifice uses 11% hp per hit ? Correct me if I am wrong, as I dont play dk.

Ideally, we would like the dear dk to be able to spam sac a bit down to say 50% of your hp then be able to tank 1 -2 hits from the boss.

My proposition is a hp of at least 80k hp at 200.

Achievable by levelling with 200 int from 50 to 200 and pumping 5 ap to hp when levelled and washing them back to str using ap reset.

This will yield a total of 37 500 hp on top of that 13000 or so hp of a dk at 200.

So the total hp will be around 50k hp at 200.

With hp it will reach 80k

Sufficient to sac a bit on pb and tank a hit or 2.

You sure make a lot of these ridiculous HP washing threads, especially on SW.

You should consider the HP bonuses from CHTP, CZAK, and even Rex earrings. Then you would "only" need 42k base HP before HB.

Yup was doing some maths calculation at that time and was stucked.

Then some people came along and said I was trolling there, so I decided not to reply there due to some possibilities of flame war issues.

I remembered about the min int to wash to 30k hp for mechanics part.
I did some calculation and was shocked to discover that triple wash was required from 50 to 200 to obtain at least something like 160 hp gain every level. Which would yield 24k extra hp by 200 and reach 30k hp assuming a min of 6k hp at 200 for mechs.

However the most frustrating variable to the whole equation then was the int needed to do a triple wash. As that time the safety min int I used was 320+ int then, which I wasn't sure if it was correct.

As for the 99k hp for end game bosses, it was taken into consideration where there were cd of pot and pot locks and such...

After achilies and everything pink bean only does 14k max touch to me, lvl 200 drk with around 3k wep def. Its all different after BB. damage reflect still hits for 25k on me.

Wow, I can't imagine what kind of lag you're experiencing to need to be able to tank 2 hits with 45% of your HP remaining. You'd think you could use a potion before then. I'd say 1 hit, 3 Sacs is much more reasonable.

I see, I was doing calculations based on sudden screen freezes that may occur, which accounts for the ability to tank 2 hits.

However I haven't played any dk with sac before, so I am not in a position to say how much sac is reasonable.

We could however start with 1 hit 3 sacs and do some excel thingy.

I'd rather use a Wheel than HP wash to that extent. I haven't had any trouble with Sac-spamming and potting every 3 attacks against bosses on my DK, but I haven't had experience fighting a boss that actually does heavy damage like PB on it.

I use pots after every 3 Sacs on my DrK, mostly cause the Berserk threshold's still kinda high @ level 123. It's not a problem unless I start lagging, it just kinda wastes a potion whenever Sacrifice manages to heal.


Isn't touch damage one of the things auto-pot works reliably on? I don't think it's a huge concern until you get Sed/pot locked.

I just wanna back up this statement. PB's touch is not nearly as high anymore. I have 42k hp and can sac with no issues. Screen freezes should not even be a problem as the pb fight itself is a lot less intensive then say an ht run, not sure if that will apply to the empress fight though.

Threaten and achilles reduce significantly the damage done by PB. Take those into account.

PB is a bit of a pot smasher due to it almost always having zombify up.

So you might want to account for that, I find mind myself having to double pot with gingers with 40k HP.

If you lag, you're going to die, doesn't really matter if you have 100k hp or not. I could spam sacrifice no problem with 38k hp, I only died once cuz I was playing 2 chars at once and wasn't standing on pink bean itself. Oh and it only does 12k to me, I think I have 5k defense and max achilles. Autopot doesn't seem to fail when using sacrifice, so that's good news.
