I can't access youtube at work, but 90% of the bands I submit would be metal. I'll edit an example in tonight.

Thank you. All the quiet stuff in this thread was depressing.
Not Metal, but I don't think any other band has more songs that I like.

Lots of anything that is metal-influenced, *points to the GazettE, Disturbed, etc*. Though Disturbed is far from metal, they seem to be influenced a bit by it. Uh, my favorites can range from Pop, to Rock, to Metal. Haha.
Started listening to Versailles a lot, they're a VK band that does tons of Symphonic Metal:
EDIT: Had to add "Symphonic" before Metal, because I like to be accurate and precise with mah metal.
Then there's this:

Well it should be evident that my musical taste has something to do with metal, having the forum name "StringStrider" and "Guitarocam" for an IGN, it's pretty safe to say I play guitar
Taking a quick swipe down the artists list on my iPhone (not explicitly inclusive), I get:
Arch Enemy (Angela Gossow is an amazing singer, would totally do her if she was straight)
As I Lay Dying
Big Shiny Tunes
Bullet for my Valentine
Carcass
Children of Bodom
Dark Tranquility
Dispatch
Evanescence (I started as a classical guitarist, and I have a "thing" for Opera singers)
Gojira
John Butler Trio
Kitty
Martyr
Meshuggah
Nightwish (See note wrt Evanescence)
Slayer
Symphony x
I listen to a vast variety of music.
Edit: Here's something the metalheads might find interesting...
Here's the original song, before being mashed.
Googling a song -> Right click Copy Shortcut = Awesome way of bypassing Youtube block while at work to link videos!

Oh so I see you're into the more symphonic metals. Here's some stuff you might enjoy:
Martyr - Warp Zone <- Sounds like a mix of Slayer/Death
Symphony X - Inferno (Unleash the Fire) <- Similar to Dream Theatre, but less chromatic fails (seems like the chromatic/pentatonic scales are all Petrucci does for DT)
Theatre of Tragedy - Musique <- Techno Operatic Metal. Very catchy.
Death - Spirit Crusher <- Awesomeness
Edguy - We Don't Need a Hero <- Power metal at it's finest.
You listen to Sonata Arctica at all? Another great power metal band.
We most likely have more in common than that. I also listen to Disturbed/Korn/Limp Bizkit, and those other Nu Metal bands quite often as well.

I have Symphony X and Sonata Arctica on my HDD. Though I don't listen to them that often. Even have other bands such as Tarot, etc. And you listen to Disturbed? F`UCK YEAH. *highfives*

Dude... I had Asylum like 2 weeks before it even hit shelves...
Torrents = <3
-highfive-
@Alley: I've been playing guitar for 11 years of my 20 year life. Metal is my hobby. You'd love my guitar. I'll post a link to a picture incase you have no sweet clue what the brands are. BC Rich Warlock Platinum

I wanted to purchase Asylum, but I did DL it before it hit shelves. I ended up buying Asylum to support them anyways, haha. I loved their new album, for the most part. Asylum does seem overly repetitious at times, and I mean the song. I still think that "Indestructible" is their best album, by far. I'm hoping for more albums from them in the future, because I really like their unique style and lyrics.

My hands down favorite song is probably Ten Thousand Fists. The sitar accompaniment in the intro gives it a unique feel, and then the breakdown leads to an awesome guitar riff.
Another close second is Rise, but I will always be a fan of "chug" metal. It's catchy and makes you bop your head.
For your auditory pleasure: Amon Amarth - Down the Slopes <- this is what I mean by chug.
