Jobs that are actually fun.
#21
Ok, so, keep making different jobs and play them until level 50 or 70. Keep track of the ones you feel like playing most of the time. Those will be the "fun" ones.

Everyone's different. I am still looking for the "fun" jobs. What is your definition of "fun"?
There are different jobs for different moods. Sometimes I play my WK; some days the DB. My mom really likes her BaM and not the Hunter she first made.

Make different accounts on the same server, try out lots of characters and see what happens. I don't have a lot of time either but won't it be worth the time invested when you find that character you really like?

Just some thoughts.

Well see; my problem is also that I can't decide on what to play..
I don't have the time to take time on each character and do that..

I should probably look up videos on each character at a high level and see which one motivates me or sticks out to me the most? o:
Gah..I hate this kind of situation. I knew it was gonna come and bite me in the ass one day when new jobs would come to Maple. :l

Then you don't need to decide? o_o

There are certain aspects of each class that i like my bowmaster has the damage hoe speed shooting and is always wanted for bossing. My buccaneer is my favorite character because of the massive amount of move variation. My shadower i like for the same reason plus the massive avoidability. And i never cared about my bishop; he was the guild's HS mule. Ehich ever i need to play or whichever i feel i want to play, that's the one i play.

What i guess i'm trying to say is: if you find certain aspects of each character "fun", why limit yourself to only one? It's a game- to have the most fun out of your time you spend here, you might as well enjoy everything that the game has to offer.

Please. You are the one who posts a bloody thread constantly, so you can't really talk. :/

Back on the topic, when you use the word fun, you are being really vague. What do you mean by fun? Some people find having really good damage is fun. Some find that many attacks are fun. So it depends on what you define "fun" to be. But if you want a class with many attacks, play a Bucc. Their training style is really versatile, you do not spam just one attack, you use other attacks to your advantage. And they own atr bosses, with their invibility frames and as of Big Bang, you are able to stay transformed for like EVER!

Who do you think you are with that font and [align=center] F3? Hanibi Kirabiska

Uhmmm. The classes I like are underplayed and have a great support skill, but can still do high DPM with good funding. AKA Paladins and Buccs.

I used to like just strong classes like Heroes and NLs, but then cubes came out and I can't fund my characters as much as nx buyers...So yeah I'm leaning awy from those now.

It all comes down to what feels fun to you really. The only way is to try all the classes really, after years of playing Maple I found that Crusader seems to be the most exciting class for me. All you can do is try them out.. read up on their skills a bit maybe to get an idea of something you might like that this class has, something you dislike and weigh those pros & cons to your preferences.

MapleStory is not a funny game.

Honestly... despite the NX cost... DualBladers are actually pretty fun because of the combinations new upcoming skills flying assaulter and other stuff.... You get new jobs at Lv 10 20 30 55 70 120 so u have closer goals to reach not massive gaps from 30/70/120 And there's just a wide range of different fun skills you can use.
Look up some videos (: And if your worried about new jobs and stuff... just wait till Choas comes around. They're going to be even more fun ;D
Sonic like skill + Phantom bl0w CHOPCHOPCHOCHPCHOPCHOCHCPHCPHP woot :3

Flash Jump + Assaulter is the most fun you can get out of Maple.

So CB's are most fun now... Shadower (4th job) only enhances this gameplay, but the real fun comes from these 2 3rd job skills.

As for all other classes... I can't really be bothered for fun... I'm only gonna try if Mech's Tankmode will be fun, otherwise i'm back to my Shadower! Smile

I really detest threads like these because other people's inputs on the matter will not help you. Here's an example:

I gear towards Japanese Rock
You gear towards Korean Pop

Now, using music as a subject because there's many genres. Do you really think that because two people favor two different things, that they'll actually agree for the majority of the time? Asking for recommendation in regards to music from one person to the next wouldn't help unless they both like the same thing. Maybe this is a bad comparison, I'm sure there's a loophole to what I stated. However, this also applies to MS. What you like and what you think is fun might not apply to another person.

Why don't you just watch a ton of videos, read guides, and maybe mess around with a bunch of characters until you find one that suits yourself? It's not hard. It's just boring. When I played a Dragon Knight, I thought it was the best class ever. Then once I played a Hermit (out of my own will, not because I asked for someone to pick a class for me), I realized that I'd rather play a Hermit for life. Which is how I now have a Night Lord.

Asking for other's inputs on which class you should play is pointless. Pick the facts based on data, which characters mobs, which does higher damage, which moves faster, etc. Then go from there. No need to ask, because obviously, person A is going to state that NLs are the best class EVER because they do OMGHIGHDAMAGE and use BUNSHIN NO JUTSU. While another person is going to suggest some sort of Mage just for KS'ing and what-not.

Enjoy trying out your classes.

Some people find a job cool, fun to play, while others completely hate it.
Only depends on YOUR opinion. Everyone will have different concepts about all jobs, some may find it fun, some won't.
You know, asking others which one is the best and most fun job to play doesn't help at all.

You know what's fun?

All DEX permanent Beginners. They're the most fun you'll ever had. And if you don't, then you don't know what fun is.

You should really make one. Super fun every second you touch the keyboard with one.

Fun can come in several flavors in Big Bang:

-Cutting down monster's HP like a hot knife through butter
-Having a keyboard filled with skills that are used all the time
-Being able to takes hits and dish them back
-Like to be cheap with potions via passive/active HP/MP drain skills, HP/MP Recovery skills, or a la Hermit/Resistance increased potion efficiency?

Which ones appeal to you the most?

Sounds to me that you just need to take a break from Maple.
Try out some new games perhaps in the mean time, and then come back to Maple when you get bored of them.

You say you might continue your Aran? Then do it. If that doesn't work out, then play another job that interests you, or get away from Maplestory altogether (and come back when you feel like it, if ever). It's not a game if you're not having fun, and like other users before me have already mentioned, we are in no position to decide what's fun for you.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Golden Temple is supposed to make a re-appearance next month, so you can take advantage of that and raise some new characters up. That way, you can get a feel for different classes without having to sacrifice too much time.

I'm kind of in the same boat, but I'm just looking for a fun second character to play. I love my MM to death, but having a second character is always fun. I have a WK but he's a little slow, so right now, I'm experimenting with a slinger and DB. Both are mobile and hit pretty hard.

There's a well known saying that fits this scenario perfectly.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

People say Heros are boring, I love mine.
