I do, whenever I'm able to play again. I just really like playing my F/P and that's it.
Coincidentally I also love doing these spreadsheets and stuff but it doesn't change the way I view the game.

I did calculations and I actually believe corsairs and mechs are really close. Only reason why mechs 'seem' stronger is that besides extreme mech, the other 4th job skills don't give them as much of a boost as corsair's (homing, summon octopi, cannon, battleship). Comparing a level 170 mech and a corsair will be more reasonable.

Are you considering amplifier? Robot Mastery?

Whether Mechanics out DPS Sairs or not, they're still much more useful and practical at bosses. 100% Stance is a godsend at bosses and Amplifier is one of the best party skills in the game. Oh well, at least my Ship is cuter than their ugly tank.

Yeah..the one thing I don't like about Mechs is how every single one of them is riding the same ugly disproportionate robot.

Um... That's not a downgrade. Shadowers have a much higher DPS than a Bowmaster if used properly.

The Mechanic is like the ugliest class ever created...movement is also blocky. I don't care if they have 100% stance and can jump super high and move in one direction super fast...they're not mobile suit Gundams - more like antique robots (especially given their colors)

lol it doesn't Would be cool if the mech parts could actually appear on the robot But alas it is not to be (otherwise Evans would want their dragon to has armor too)

I mean the dang robot is a PROTOTYPE afterall. Would have been cooler if after you got extreme Mech in 4th your robot would turn into something more sporty (instead of the minivan it is now).

Been an Evan since the day it came out. Gotta say it was the most fun I had on a class since I started my Hero when MS first opened(of course it was just Swordsman>Fighter then..)I love my Evan and I can say I was officially ahead of the Chaos bandwagon. Plus on the dps issue you don't need zomg maximum funding just to play this game. Like Zelkova said to each his own though. I personally see my experiences as this:be conservative with your money and pick up the items you need as you go. My Evan at 14x with hardly any potential is keeping up fine with those who pump billions into their Evans. This game shouldn't be about going to this class or that class just because the damage is better. Should take pride in your class no matter what your dps or dpm bs is or is not. What happened to the old days when damage was just numbers>.>. Each patch it seems people are becoming more and more power hungry and it's starting to become a major turn off.

Plus just the people behind the screens are just wow..heres an example. I'm training my hero just minding my own business. At least 3 people came in and said they can take the map because they're stronger than me. This game is turning into a major headache and this thread kinda says exactly what this game has become..

I had fun playing mechanic up until lvl 70. None of the 3rd skills appeal to me much + I hate all those skills cooldown. They remind me the game "WonderKing".

Typical Scania. I never had these problems save for going to very popular maps on weekends or 2x (which I avoid as much as I can, I hate 2x events because of that). Get out of that hellhole and start a new life on a server that's not as crazy.

With 1 being the lowest...I'd give them a 2, only because their tank looks cool (still ugly 'cause of the colors).
