Permanent Bans - 01/10/11 to 01/23/11

Just throwing this out there, and maybe its not the best thing to do but...

If a cool name appears on that ban list, does that mean its free or permanently lost for good? Because if its a good name i might want it...

Account perma'd -> acc can't be logged into -> character can't be deleted -> name lost

What happened to CuteEgg

They list the names because listing the account IDs is stupidly irresponsible as a company, though it doesn't really matter since the accounts are permabanned. What's the point of posting the IDs when the community has no idea which characters belong to those accounts? The top WH getting banned we know about because they list the characters and not the IDs.

And yeah, banning the account also bans the character, which is why your post doesn't make sense. o.o

Then I'll explain. If they list every character from every banned account, then the list shows the total characters and not total accounts. If they list only one character per account, then it would represent the total number of accounts banned, but the number of characters gone is significantly higher.
Although, this line of discussion is a bit pointless since we have next to no information on how nexon compiles these lists, and we simply wont know the exact statistics.

Oh i get'cha. I still think the list represents accounts banned and should be seen as such. Other characters being affected by the process should be assumed from the start, just like how when they put out the "Over x million registered users" statistic it does not show any indication of actual active players.
